I am up from my all too short nap. Time to finish my blogging which was started this morning.
I guess these pictures go back to last Saturday. Aunt S came over to spend some time with her mom. Maiden just loves her Aunt S.
We had to get a picture of Maiden with Mommy too.
Three generations!
DH took part of Monday off and we went to a local nature park. There were really high winds so they told us that we couldn't go on the trails because trees had blown over.
There were lots of pretty flowers to look at. These flowers are really cool! They change color as the bees drain the nectar!
After we left the Nature Park we went to the St. Pete Pier. This is a picture of "The Bounty". It is docked at the Pier. This is the boat that was used in the 1960s? movie, "Mutiny on the Bounty" starring Marlon Brando.
Maiden and Knight #2 standing in front of the big aquarium in the center of the Pier.
I had to get some more pictures on the trolley ride back to our car. Knight #1

Knight #2 and daddy
A nice lady offered to take a picture of G'ma and me. Daddy and Knight #2 are in the background.
I forgot to mention in my earlier blog, my kids got to color eggs for the first time this year. G'ma wanted to do eggs with them. I figured that my kids have a good grasp on what the true meaning of Easter is all about so why not let them? They had a lot of fun with it. I wish I had gotten pictures!
Today after lunch we sent the kids into their room and G'ma, DH and I hid the eggs all over the living room. They had fun looking for them when we called them back out. There was not even one mention of the Easter Bunny.
Oh, and DH and I got to go out for a real life DATE on Friday night! We had dinner at a cheap place and then went to a more expensive one for dessert. It was a lot of fun.
G'ma made all of Easter Dinner today as well! While we were sitting and eating I asked her, "Has no one ever explained to you the concept of what a VACATION is?" She laughed and said her concept of vacation is doing what she wants to do but doing it with family.
She is going home on Tuesday. It is going to feel so dull around here after she leaves!
A blog of whatever is on my heart and mind that day, particularly in context of being a homeschool mom. Hopefully it will be an encouragement to homeschoolers and also those who don't homeschool.
