The kids and I are really suffering with these sunburns! I guess we are not the only ones from our home fellowship who got burned really bad. A friend at church told us to put dark vinegar on the burns. It takes the sting out. We tried it and it does seem to be helping, but with the deeper burns, it will take a while to heal. Please pray for us and the others who got burned yesterday. One who got burned really badly is a friend who is only 4 weeks away from delivering her 6th child. She was having some contractions yesterday while we were at the beach. She really wants to have a home birth this go around. The sunburn is going to take a lot out of her I know, because it has really taken the kids and me down. I just want to go curl up in bed and sleep until the burning goes away. I am sure the kids are feeling much the same. Of course, they don't want to miss out on anything by sleeping! I worry about not being able to sleep tonight if I sleep today.
