I did something nice for myself for mother's day! I went and got a new hair cut! I wanted a picture of it the way the hairstylest had fixed it before I washed it and then couldn't get it to look the same. All three of my kids wanted to take the picture so I let each of them take one.
My blouse could give you virtego! Yikes!

These two pictures cut off the top of my head but oh well. I asked for shoulder length layers. That is natural curl. I thought about a perm but I don't need one.

Yesterday, my kids found their "Zoo Books" a friend had given them and were playing a game asking questions from the "Zoo Books"! Talk about a Homeschool moment!!! Knight #1 refused to be photographed. I guess he has figured out that the pictures tend to end up on my blog.
No, I am not running a boot camp and those ARE old toothbrushes they are cleaning the floor with! They decided to do this all on their own! I wasn't about to stop them!
They were building a house with our Math U See blocks. Knight #2 says, "Mom, I want to be creative!" Too cute!
I hope I am not ruining the surprise! But this is what I crocheted for my Mom and Mom-in-law for Mother's Day.

It is a bit hard to see but these are Rose Buds and Daisies. These were for my Mom-in-law. I tried to get her to tell me what her favorite flower is while she was here but she had a hard time picking just one.

And for my mom, Irises and Daffodils. My mother's favorite flowers are Irises. And I can remember every Easter the Daffodils being in bloom along the sidewalk leading to our front door and the Irises being in bloom in the flower beds out in front of our yard.
Happy Mother's Day a bit early to all you hard working homeschool Moms!!!! |
When I am feeling better we will have to go to Dillards to get "fitted"
