We are in full out evacuation mode at the Eastland home. Daddy has put the blocks up all around the ouside of the house, ready to screw in the boards to cover all the windows. I'm packing up what we can't live without...the children, diapers, formula, snacks, the van DVD player (never evacuate without it--my new absolute truth), the most special scrapbooks, the laptop, various financial papers...

Pray for us. Pray for everyone making plans to escape this area. Pray for those who live wherever Gustav decides to make landfall.
