Hello! Welcome to Eclectic Education Homeschool! My name is Lynn and I am a Homeschooling WAHM. I write here about my daily happenings at home with my two darling sons. When I am not busy taking care of children, I write for eHow, make pages on Squidoo, and spend time designing merchandise for Lynn's Boutique. I also make free curriculum for homeschoolers to use at Homeschool Launch. I would love for you to check out my work. I hope that this blog will be a blessing to other Homeschool mothers and be a light for my Savior Jesus. So please pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy! Please also feel free to check out my website, Eclectic Education Homeschool Curriculum, for more homeschool tips. Thank you for visiting!

~ Freebies and Great Deals to get you going next year! ~

As we are starting to think about what curriculum we are going to use next year, I am hearing many of my friends having some real concerns with money.  The economy is really tight right now and living off of one income is difficult in the best of circumstances.  I decided to put together a list of sites that offer either free stuff (some the whole site, some just part of it) or they offer really good bargains.

*Warning* this is going to be long!!!!

Curriculum Sites- These site offer a curriculum guide for free.  Even if you do not follow their plan, the sites have a lot of advice and good stuff to use.

Old- Fashioned Education

 http://oldfashionededucation.com/

Ambleside

 http://www.amblesideonline.org/

Subscription sites- These do charge money, but they have a lot off good stuff.  I use the site frequently, especially Ed- Helper.  They have tons of stuff.  With both sites, you have the ability to really look them over before deciding.

WOW! Thanks for all the freebies. It will take me weeks just to go through them all! I need to do a little switching of my dd10's math curriculum and may have to check out the freebies first. You are just a fountain of resources. (I love lapbooking & notebooking too).

Happy Belated Birthday, btw, I hope you had a super day!!!

I just read your glad/sad posts too. I'm so sorry to hear of your challanges. It must be very tiring. I know my dd10, although not having any special needs, she is a auditory learner and quite the jabber-box. I adore her, but some nights I get so weary of her constant jabber - but than again, when she is at a friend's house, I can't stand the silence. lol
Have a Blessed Day! Thanks for blessing me with all the freebie info.
