Hello! Welcome to Eclectic Education Homeschool! My name is Lynn and I am a Homeschooling WAHM. I write here about my daily happenings at home with my two darling sons. When I am not busy taking care of children, I write for eHow, make pages on Squidoo, and spend time designing merchandise for Lynn's Boutique. I also make free curriculum for homeschoolers to use at Homeschool Launch. I would love for you to check out my work. I hope that this blog will be a blessing to other Homeschool mothers and be a light for my Savior Jesus. So please pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy! May. 6, 2008~ My Week So Far ~
Today I had a really good day of school with Little One. He just LOVES to learn and it's great teaching him. We made a Cinco de Mayo lapbook, worked on his "A" page in his ABC book and he spent some free time starting to "write his book". Yesterday, I spent a lot of time at the Reading A- Z website, download bunches of mini books. Last night we went to a wonderful Mexican restaurant and watched half of an old Disney movie called "The Million Dollar Duck". I hope we get to finish it tonight, but we may not have time. Hubby needs to mow the lawn tonight and I'm sure Little One will probably want to go out and play with his friends if it doesn't rain. I've got a few books in that I ordered for school, but I had to go so much lighter this year. Money is just too tight!!! Hopefully, Comstock's Nature Handbook that I ordered will come in tomorrow. I am really looking forward to getting that. I got a few more of Dinah Zike's books that I am loving and a few reproducible Bible mini book/ printable books that are going to be awesome for lapbooking with Little One.
Our family could really use prayer over the next week and a half. We are having a few meeting that are really important dealing with our son Prince Caspian's situation. We especially need prayer that Hubby and I are given the right words to say, that a positive solution will resolve quickly and that there will be a positive outcome to our situation. I know I'm still being vague and I'm really sorry for that, but I really appreciate that you all are praying for us anyways. I'm really trying to stay focused on God's will and knowing God's hand is at work.
Ok, I guess I'm through rambling for now. Hope you all have a good week!
Its always so fun getting books in the mail, isn't it? I just love that. It sounds like a great day in school, and that you are finding some great things online.
I will continue to pray for the situation with your son.

Sounds like a wonderful week! I am getting really lazy myself knowing this is our last week of school! I have been really enjoying your blog! Will be sending energy and prayers to your family.
I haven't stopped praying. Every time I turn the corner, I think of you. So, I pray. Isn't it amazing how the Lord puts people on their hearts? So, rest in the fact that you have lots of arms lifting you up before the Lord.
Have a great Weblink Wednesday! Come on by and see my weblinks today if you get the chance. **Smile*

For God's grace to cover you all and for everyone to be open to the working of the Holy Spirit in your hearts. Don't fret-God has a plan....just keep your eyes and hearts open!
I'll continue to pray for you and your family. I'm sure our very big God has a very perfect plan. I hope it will be shown to you clearly. I hope everyone will be greatly blessed. :')
I will be praying, and am praying, and have been praying. The Lord brings you and your family to mind often, and I lift you all up to His hands. I hope things get worked out soon.
