May. 9, 2008~ Happy Mothers Day!!! ~
I hope you all have a Happy Mother's Day!!! Here is a news story (click link) to go along with this wonderful day. It tells that Michelle Duggar, the ultimate mother of the year is pregnant again with her 18th baby. She is due on New Years Day. If you are not familiar with the Duggars, they are a homeschooling family in Arkansas, that have been made famous due to specials on Discovery Health Channel. If you have never watched one of their specials, you really should. They are a remarkable family. I really don't know how Michelle does it, but the children seem happy, healthy and very well taken care of. That was what impressed me the most, how happy and selfless the children were and it made me realize children don't have to be spoiled to happy, in fact it's quite the opposite. Have a good weekend!
You have a happy Mother's Day too, Lynn. I am familiar with the Dugger family. The amount of children isn't what makes me shudder, it's the time of being pregnant with all of them, and all of those deliveries. YIKES....and to be 41 and pregnant with #18. I'm exhausted at the thought of it. She definitely should be deemed Queen of Mothers. LOL.
I did not know she was expecting again. How fun. I am amazed, too, by their ability to keep things going. I loved the special about their house. Amazing.

I am familiar with the Duggars. Who hasn't seen the shows on television. Some folks would have the house built. Only home schoolers would do the building, right? I only remember the last show talking about their 16th, so they snuck another one in there...and now another.
Wow.
Have a blessed Mother's Day, Lynn! I hope you are looking for your socks today! *grin*
Lynn,
Thank you for visiting my blog! I know what you mean about the Duggar children. It is amazing how well behaved they are and I only wish that I could have the strength to stay on top of behavior management with my children so that they could behave even a fraction as well as the Duggar children do. Actually, for several years I was not living my life for the Lord and it was watching one of the Duggar Family episodes that renewed my desire to get my life in order and my focus back on the Lord. As I watched them I just thought, "Wow, now that is what I am missing from my life and the reason why I'm not happy as I am." They really are an awesome example of faith in the Lord. Anyway, I could go on forever so I will stop and say Happy Mother's Day to you too!
Love & Blessings,
(: Amanda :)
