My organizing tip for today:
Color coordinate your calendar. Now the normal way of doing this did not work for me. Most books tell you to use a different color for each member of the family. Well my problem was most of our activities involved more than one member of the family, such as, if we are going to co-op, which kid's color was I suppose to use. It just didn't work for us. What I did find that worked when I had a REALLY active schedule (such as almost everyday filled and some days multiple activities) was to color coordinate the TYPE of activities such as red= doctors, purple= homeschool, blue= sports, green= church and black= misc. This worked so much better for us and this way I didn't miss crucial doctor appointments because they stood out in red.
