Hello! Welcome to Eclectic Education Homeschool! My name is Lynn and I am a Homeschooling WAHM. I write here about my daily happenings at home with my two darling sons. When I am not busy taking care of children, I write for eHow, make pages on Squidoo, and spend time designing merchandise for Lynn's Boutique. I also make free curriculum for homeschoolers to use at Homeschool Launch. I would love for you to check out my work. I hope that this blog will be a blessing to other Homeschool mothers and be a light for my Savior Jesus. So please pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy! Please also feel free to check out my website, Eclectic Education Homeschool Curriculum, for more homeschool tips. Thank you for visiting!

Wow, what a topic!!! Hmmmm.... over all I have pretty strong feelings on homeschooling. I feel I got a lousy education in the public school and I really want much better for my children. I get discouraged sometimes because I don't have a lot of family support. Please let me stress, for those of you that are lucky enough to have extended family that supports you homeschooling (or even has the courtesy not to express negative opinions), please don't take it for granted!!!! It gets very discouraging at times, but I know it's right for our family. Luckily my husband supports me in this. He is not as strong feelinged about it as I am by no means, but he does not stand in my way and does show support in other ways. I have also found a great support system in both my community and online. Let me tell any newbies out there, homeschoolers are really awsome about supporting each other!!!! Please get to know some other homeschoolers, because there probably will be times you will feel overwelmed, but having someone to share that with really helps.
This year is the 1st year I have some space set aside for homeschooling. The space has changed some since I took these pictures, but not much.
Hello! I wanted to say Hi! I am a first timer at this homeschooling and also have an ADHD son. Homeschooling is the way to go! I want you to know that I support you... even though we've never met :-)
Wow what a great space you have for homeschooling. Schooling 6 kids here and we seem to take over the whole house. I love how organized you are. You are an inspiration!
Take care, Mamaswan
You are so right about supporting each other. I will let you in on a secret though, when you aren't around, they are bragging about how awesome your children are. Eventually your biggest critic will say " You really were the best mom". It just takes time.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
What a wonderful homeschool space...And so very organized. I will admit I am an organize/neat freak. lol Glad to hear that your husband supports you and that you found a great support system both on-line and where you live.
I know what you mean-this is our first year in 14 to really have a place to go for "schooling" and to be able to find the stuff.
I also can totally relate to not having family support. After all this time-I still hear family make remarks about how they think the kids are not this or that, or that somehow they still are unsocialized....kinda hurts...but I know we are doing what we are suppose to for our kids-you are not alone. I support ya!
I have found my main support in hs'ing is my hubby and online hs friends. I am just getting to be involved with a Christian support group/ co-op group this year. I can't wait !!!
Girl !!! YOu are sooooooo organized !!!! I am in awe of you !!!! You GO GIRL.
Cool Weblink!
I am very fortunate to have a good supporte system. I am so thankful that I do. I love your space! It's so organized.
Blessings!

oooo weee thats a lovely, organized learning room!!!
I too have had those negative comments from family -- after 7 years, they still do not agree with our choice, but thats ok. Glad you have found support elsewhere.
Good work on your "homework" for Blogger Friend School. Your school space looks great! I said a prayer for you and for your extended family. It does make it harder to not have their support.
Your homeschool room looks fabulous! So organized and clean. It is wonderful you have husband and community support for homeschooling. I hope one day your family will be on board too. Keep up the good work!
