Hello! Welcome to Eclectic Education Homeschool! My name is Lynn and I am a Homeschooling WAHM. I write here about my daily happenings at home with my two darling sons. When I am not busy taking care of children, I write for eHow, make pages on Squidoo, and spend time designing merchandise for Lynn's Boutique. I also make free curriculum for homeschoolers to use at Homeschool Launch. I would love for you to check out my work. I hope that this blog will be a blessing to other Homeschool mothers and be a light for my Savior Jesus. So please pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy! Please also feel free to check out my website, Eclectic Education Homeschool Curriculum, for more homeschool tips. Thank you for visiting!
Sep. 10, 2008~ Memoirs and Birthdays ~
First, I want to say Happy Birthday to my little one. He turns 6 today!!!! He's getting to be such a big boy!!!! I guess he won't be "Little One" much longer (but he still is for awhile!!!).
This weeks assignment on Homeschool Memoirs is to write about a new curriculum that you are using. Well, that is easy for me since I am only using one new curriculum this year, Language Lessons. (You can click on the title to link to their website and see it) I am really liking it. I choose one of the younger titles so we are covering more phonics this year, but I'll probably skip a few books and go with the elementary level next year. This book covers not only grammar and writing but it also includes narration, poetry, copy work and picture studies. Over all I have been really happy with it. The lessons are not long, just bite size which is perfect for a younger child or a child that struggles with language arts. I don't feel its overwhelming at all. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your little one!
I'm new here to your blog and just read a bit. How is your 12 yr old at his grandparents? My oldest has ADD and my my younger 2 ADHD. (my oldest was actually diagnosed with having the "H" part 'in his thoughts- whatever that means, LOL)
