Oct. 16, 2008~ Show and Tell ~
Hello!!! I have been soooooo busy this week! Hubby is on vacation and we decided to cram a lot in to it. Well, a few things were already planned because this vacation was unexpected. We thought Hubby had used one of his vacation weeks already during a family crisis, but we just found out his boss did not count it as a vacation. Yippee!!! So Hubby took this week off and he still gets a week around Christmas time. So far this week we went to see City of Ember with both PC and Little One on Tuesday. We all enjoyed the movie very much! Then on Wednesday Hubby and I took Little One to the Columbus Zoo! It was an awesome day. It was about 80 degrees with a cool breeze, so it was only a little hot in the direct sunlight. Otherwise it felt wonderful!!!! Here are some pictures of it:
We ate at Cracker Barrel on the way home which is always a nice place to stop. On Thursday, I went to Co-op in the morning to assist in my classes but Little One stayed home with daddy. He wants to spend as much time with daddy as possible this week!!! Thursday night we went to see Journey to the Center of the Earth (for the second time!!!) at the cheapie theatre. On Friday, we plan to see a theater production and go to a farm for Little One's Sunday School. On Sunday, we are going to our nephew's birthday party and then Hubby and I have a date!!!! We are hoping to see Fire Proof. I hope to have more pictures from our various activities next week!
Btw... In case you hadn't heard yet... It's now time to nominate your favorite blogs!!!! This is always a fun activity. I hope you will participate.
Thank you for sharing your pictures, we are a 1 car family right now and hubby's business is good so trips are out right now. Thanks for sharing with us.
It sounds like you are all having a great time. And I love the pictures from the zoo. I'm glad you are all having so much fun with hubby home. :)

Oh, fun!
Say, is City of Ember interesting for teens, too? My DS read the book a few years ago, and we saw it on the reader board when we went to An American Carol (hmmm....funny in a stupid sort of way....and warning about inappropriate language and innuendos).
Anyway, I thought I'd ask what you thought of City of Ember.
