May. 15, 2009~ PC is Coming Home! (and other news) ~
Well, got some good news... we are going to be bringing Prince Caspian home in June!!! It's been a LONG year!!! For those of you that don't know, PC was having some unique challenges and for his own good, he went to stay at his Grandparent's home for awhile. It ended up being longer than we had planned, but it was really good for him. He was needing some individual attention that we really couldn't give him since we had another child here that needed us too. PC is doing much better and we are excited to have him home. He's been staying with us on the weekends and the visits have been going really good. So we will probably bring him home on June 6th.
Ok, not everything is going good right now. I just found out I may be diabetic. *sigh* I have to take a 2 hour glucose intolerance test next week and I'm really dreading it. I've had it before when I was pregnant and it made me sick. Ugh! Anyways, needless to say, I'm nervous about the results. I was really close to the border, so I'm praying the tests will come back that I'm not diabetic. Please pray for me if you think about it. Also today is my birthday!!! Yay! It was funny, Little One asked me how old I was and I said "Ummm 21". He gave me a look that said "yeah right!" lol!!!! Geeeezzzz.... can't even fool a 6 year old anymore. lol!!! Anyways, we have a lot of fun (and educational!) things planned for this weekend, so I will have lots to talk about next week!!!
Great news on PC... it has been a long year and I've prayed all along. I'm so thrilled that you will be reunited. You'll need more prayer as things get situated once again. Also, you have some serious stuff happening to you and your body. Maybe that is why your health was so compromised a few months back - I pray that you receive answers!!!

So sorry about the possible diabetes. As you said on your page, it could just be 'pre' so we will be praying for that and of course, non at all.
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Goodness keeping a thing like your birthday to yourself. So not fair to the rest of us. I do hope you have a great, blessed day. :)
Oh Lynn! I missed your big day! I've not been very good at checking blogs lately. Happy belated birthday, anyway! When is your testing? I will pray. And that is wonderful news about PC coming home. I pray that it will be a smoothe transition time.
