Hello! Welcome to Eclectic Education Homeschool! My name is Lynn and I am a Homeschooling WAHM. I write here about my daily happenings at home with my two darling sons. When I am not busy taking care of children, I write for eHow, make pages on Squidoo, and spend time designing merchandise for Lynn's Boutique. I also make free curriculum for homeschoolers to use at Homeschool Launch. I would love for you to check out my work. I hope that this blog will be a blessing to other Homeschool mothers and be a light for my Savior Jesus. So please pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy! Please also feel free to check out my website, Eclectic Education Homeschool Curriculum, for more homeschool tips. Thank you for visiting!
Jun. 25, 2009~ Great Site for High School Students ~
Educator.com is a wonderful resource for homeschool families with high school kids.Educator has a huge list of video lectures with demonstrations in some of the hardest to teach classes. It has classes where you can learn chemistry, biology, algebra, algebra 2, calculus 1, AP Calculus BC (calculus 2), statistics, and computer science (Javascript).Educator also has a section that goes over some of the commonly missed math problems on exams. I don't know about you, but I definitely want help with teaching classes like AP Calculus AB and computer science.
Educator has several different teachers teaching the different subjects.I was especially impressed that the chemistry teacher was educated at the University of Cambridge. All of the teachers except for the biology professor and the MathMagic list that they have their doctorate degrees and the biology classes are taught by University of California college professors.
Educator has large amount of videos that you can try out before you sign up for their service so you can tell if it is right for your family.I highly recommend if you have high school (or soon to be high school) students and you want them to learn calculus, learn chemistry or any of the other subjects, then you at least check it out.
