No Wrath Left For Me
Jesus in the garden stared into a brimming cup;
The cup contained His Father's wrath which boiled in the cup.
The cup, the cup, contained the wrath
Which boiled in the cup.
Jesus on the cross, He hung enduring all the shame;
The shame was borne to save the world which writhed under the shame.
The shame, the shame, was borne to save
Which writhed under the shame.
Jesus, in His death He purchased the grace to buy us back;
Redemption fee, His life, He gave . . . and just to buy us back.
Us back, us back, redemption fee
And just to buy us back.
I am, in my salvation, reconciled with God at last!
I know for sure that Jesus bore the wrath for me, at last!
At last, at last, I know for sure
There's none for me at last!
