A bit of personal advice please!!

I hope this is not too personal, but as I would chat about this to a friend and of course I consider you all my friends I know you won't mind  bit!

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on getting through those few days leading up to that glorious time of he month. I've been breastfeeding for nearly six years,my daughter then little son,I'm sure this has something to do with it. But I believe that is all really natural and I know some people feed longer. I need to find out if there is anything I  could include in my diet or anything that you have found that helps you.

You may have read a good book on this subject,or could offer some encouragement.

I know I can get through this by Gods grace and stay sane

Thank you wise ladies!!

Some women find their symptoms of PMT disappear if they go on the failsafe diet. There's some information about it at www.fedup.com.au (the Food Intolerance Network). Although the website focuses on behavioural effects of food on children, many adults have found it helps them too. Basically the idea is that chemicals in our foods can affect our feeling of wellness, coping, and behaviour, and finding out which chemicals affect you and how lets you work out which foods to avoid.

We've tried the diet because of our daughter's behaviour, and found she changed drastically after going on the diet. We're even starting to succeed with toilet training!

From Louise

Hi Hope you are all well.

Avocodo's are supposed to be good, blended with rice milk (which I thought was yuk) so I just eat the avocodo on its own. Also lots of potatoes.

The main things that have helped me in past have been 1) giving up sugar & 2) natural progesterone cream. The over the counter creams are nice but I had a practitioner Rx a natural one for me & it's way better; what a difference!

Hi, this is something I really do suffer with especially mood swings I seem to spend half the time apologising for snapping. I did used to take evening primrose oil tablets and am thinking of using them again as they did have a good effect according to my dh, but at the moment I have to make sure I get plenty of sleep (well as much as possible) and take lots of deep breaths lol. Oh yes and swallow my pride and apologise a lot - least my dc know I'm human lol.
