I actually managed to upload some photos only trouble is they are about a year old!! I do try, I will get my act together one of these days.

Anyway I thought it would be nice to catch up with all you gorgeous people and let you know what we have been up to of late.

Well we've been rather busy this past month. The Home School Family Workshop is running well and I have about four regular customers. These past two weeks have been a bit different with my own kids, I let them wind down the amount of work they do so they have kind of half of half term, then we are doing the same this week, hub has two days off this week and one next week. Its a bit of a strange way to take a week off but I think it's working!!

I'm looking forward to some fun family days.

I've taken time to do those ever such nice jobs (during our half, half not half term)that usually get nicely ignored, like cleaning the fridge, tidying out our learning room and boys bedroom.

We had a huge book case collaspe on us recently so that needed sorting out. I bought a much smaller but deeper one from Argos and was very pleased it fits all the books and looks so neat at 17.99 about 10 dollars I think, it's fab.

We are still hosting our little group at Church and have had Church in our house quite a few times lately we are really enjoying that.

Our kids are doing a lot of reading at the moment so I didn't do our usual theme based stuff at all this term. We have missed that though, narrating is lovely but I think a bit less might be nice for a while.  I shall be looking for inspiration for an over all theme. Haven't a clue yet.

We have been using the Answers in Genesis site quite a bit lately, I noticed you can watch the whole Pilgrims Progress on there for free, very ancient but still good stuff, I think that might be something we will be using not a lot to go on but I'm sure God will direct me He always does.  Something we always need to do is more Maths!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really looking forward to Bonfire night. The kids get sooooo excited about going out in the dark.

We will eat home made soup with family watch everybody elses fire works,we can do that because we are so high up and come home for hot choc.

Enjoy your week whatever you do.

Lots of love.   by the way I don't know how on earth that strange frog creature appeared on here???!!   If any of you have any ideas about how it can be removed I'll put a pic of myself there instead, maybe you'd prefer the frog?! So funny

Thanks for popping by! I had smiled at the frog, but no idea how to get rid of it! We don't always take a 'proper' half term either. A lot depends on what we are doing as a family. One of the best things about home ed I think! Flexibility.
God bless you!

From Giggles3

Thank you for stopping by to say hello....sorry it has been such a long time since I have come over here to your blog...I have a ton of things I do on the computer...shops, a few blogs and what not.

As for how the elections turned out...It is kind of depressing for a lot of people. I didn't vote for Obama and it does make me really nervous that he is going to be our leader! I don't agree with how or why people voted for him. There were a whole lot of people who lacked knowledge voting this year and that is scary.
I think America might be in trouble down the road. But on top of all of that it is truely awesome that the Lord is in total control of everything and everyone and we need to keep our eyes on Him and only Him.

Anyways...Your kiddos are adorable even if the photos are old. Good job! :)
Have a beautiful day!!

LOL on the frog... it's an avatar; you can change it within the settings I believe.

I thought people had changed to the frog. I couldn't help smiling. My dd thinks it is a push to create your own. Lol!

Hey! How are you doing? I trust well. Haven't popped over in a while - life gets busy sometimes and I've been trying to finish something for Christmas for my dad. It's finished, well almost, so I find myself with a little extra time!
God bless you!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Thought I would click over here and say, Howdy (I live in Oklahoma, we tend to talk like that) :-)!
Blessings, Julie
