Aug. 19, 2008 - Summer

The basement was on hold, but it will be done in a month. we are *held in suspense* GOING TO DC FOR A MONTH! I am sooo excited! I have been playing Nancy Drew PC games, and reading, babysitting, and going to the beach,a nd everything else you do in summer! Well, I just thought that I'd post, and I will post more soon.

May. 16, 2008 - OHHHHHHHH! NOOOOOOO!

So, we went on a hike again today, and I stepped on an old rusty nail. it went through my shoe and left a small hole, but my doctor said that I need a tetnis(i don't think that is the correct spelling) shot because the last one I had was 12 years ago. So, if all goes well I will post when I get back. Bye!

May. 15, 2008 - I know,

I know. I have been lazy. I have somethings to write about though. Well, this morning I was cleaning up my room so the window cleaners can wash my windows. I was taking something out to the garage, and Laura was my, so to speak, " door opener" . She was opening the laundry room door when she looked down and found an ant nursery. There were proboally 100 ants, and 300-500 larve. It was neat and gross. Neat because we just learned about ants, and how each one has it's own job. But it was kinda gross to know that my mom saw them there yesterday, and there were no larve. So, either they brought the "queen" there, or made our laundry room their new home. YUK! So, here comes the sad part. we had to dispose of them right? Now, for you animal lovers, please do not think that I enjoyed doing this or did it just to be mean. God made ants to live outside, not in my laundry room. My mom went and got a can of lysol and sprayed them. they literally died when it hit them.  We are ant free for the day. And one other thing. I would never do this if the ants were where thay belong.

OH, about a week ago, my family and I went on a walk to a creek behind our house. Jake and I used to go and help out Laura's daycare, and we would take the kids to this creek(the daycare was in-home, and about 2 blocks away). We went there last week to do science. It was so neat. You could really feel the presence of God. There is a BIG open meadow, and little yellow flowers. The creek was flooded though. Jake and I diddn't hesitate, we went right through the water and got our feet wet, if you will. Siince it was flooded, mom and Jesse stayed behind and played. The flooded water had created a "waterfall" into the creek. It was so pretty. Then we did science. Which brings me back to the ants. That is part of what we learned about. How each ant has it's own jub, and how each one has a duty to protect the others.

Well, we're going on a "hike" tomorrow, and it has a big creek. i gotta go, And oh, check out my new blog from time to time. bye!

May. 3, 2008 - Build-a-Bear

Uggggghh!

i am so tired! I spent the night at a friends house last night, and then had to get up early to go to the buildabear party(bleh). We went to old navy, target, stein mart, then the party, then trader joes, and then costco. It was a packed day. sorry bout my capitalizing, i just am not in the mood for it! the build a bear party was weird. it was so ceremonial, like when u put the heart in, you rubbed it over your ears, eyes, tummy(as they say), hands, and it was just weird. you did all of those to make sure that your bear could heare, never be hungry, and it was , strange. I have nothing wrong if you like it. i don't. allthough, laura jo always hates it when i have to leave. so i thought that the bear could be a "Sisse Bear" so that when either one of us goes away, we can keep the bear. idk. ttyl.

May. 2, 2008 - bubbles and bithdays

You're proboally wondering aboutmy title. Bubbles and Birthdays. Well, we've been "STUDYING" bubbles. Not as in school. But on our own time. We used empty electric wirl cases, like the stuff that encloses the wires, and twisted them into circles and dipped them in homemade bubbles. We made a couple of bubbles that were a foot around! And, well the first three days of may have b-days. My dogs is may 1, papa's may 2, (today) and tomarow I have a birthday party to go to at build a bear workshop =(. I have nothing against going except for the fact that the girl whose b-day it is, is almost 3 years younger than me. And, I really don't want to do build a bear. I am spending the night at a friends house tonight, and then it is time for errands in __________. (I can't say) TTYL. PLEASE! help me get to 50 comments! I will mention whoever is the 50th commenter in a post! TTYL!

Apr. 29, 2008 - Hi again!

Sooooooo, this week my daddy is out of town for the week working on a client's 2nd home. Yup. Daddy free for the week =(.  This is funny. But today I got a mini bag of candy. It had a tootsie roll, a piece of gum, a starburst, and two hersheys kisses. I have a complaint, though. The hersheys had the flavor of the gum. I am like my dad in that way. I have very strong tastebuds, and can taste the slightest trace of anything. like when my mom puts a drop or two of vanilla in the french toast sometimes, I can sniff it out like a hound dog! I am a lot like my dad in odd ways like that. We both have very strong peronalites, which means they clash, and when he gives me a lecture, I, unfortuneately have to hold thet personality back and shut my mouth. I think that is one way God is testing me. To be a follower at times, and to be the leader at others. I am a definate leader in Church. I am what you call a Teacher Helper. I am given bigger responsabilites, and have to take them like a BIG GIRL! LOL!, I gotta finiish my laundry, so by by!

Apr. 29, 2008 - A flaw! (in me!)

I have a major flaw! I watch American Idol. I haven't told you that my first name is Caroline, and this week David A. is singing Sweet Caroilne, which my mom sang to me as a baby, It felt directed to me, oddly, and NO I am not like a bunch of other girls who have crushes on David A. No Way! yuck!

Bye. oh, =( Jake lost his 2nd game! boooooooooooo!

Apr. 21, 2008 - Just wanted to say...

Hey ya'll!(I know I don't use that term often)

Just wanted to point this out. Check with your mom, but when it is time for vocab, or spelling, or Language arts, see if you can go to www.FreeRice.com . It is a site that for every vocab question you answer, they donate 20 grains of rice to a food bank. I know, 20 doesn't seem like much, but when you get good, you can donate a lot! So check it out. You don't have to do it just for school, it is fun on your free time, too!

Apr. 14, 2008 - Dropped...................off the face of the EARTH!

HI!

You all proboally think that I have dropped off the face of the earth! Well, I haven't, just been busy. Here is what has happened since Easter.

We have had workers in the basement, lots of them. That's one of the reasons why I haven't  been on. We have had electricians, and carpenters, and plumbers, and vacuum guys, and well a few more workers than that. The electricians had to disconnect the internet for a while. Another reason why I haven't been on is because our past few weeks have been CHOCK full. Take a look at this example, it is not perfact, since I don't remember all of the past few weeks, but most of it is accurate. :

Monday- Baseball

Tuesday- Awana

Wednesday- Piano, Youth Group

Thursday-Baseball at the Batting Cages

Friday- School

Saturday- (MORE) Baseball

Sunday- A day of rest. = )

That is a normal week.  So, that pretty much explains why I haven't been on. Oh, my mom was at a CHEA confrence in San Jose this weekend, and my dad was in Denver at a Boiler show, and we stayed at my Mimi's. On Friday I spent the night at my friend's house. we stayed up really late doing a book by KLUTZ, called PAPER FASHIONS. It is sooooo much fun. we made sooo many designs. I had a lot of fun. Then, yesterday, my Cousin Gabby and her dad and sis came over. They spent the night, and Gabby, me, and Jake played DEAL OR NO DEAL, the card game, in a modified version. We found the music from th show, and played it while we played the game. We played 2 games, one where she was the host, and one where I was. We recorded it on video, but it turned out really bad, because jake was our techno guy, and our camera man, and he kept going off the focus, and half the time it was pointed in the corner, but it was funny to watch! I won $400.000 and she won $682,000. She got mad at me for offering her a realistic price for her case, which was $92,000. We each had to be the "banker". My first offer was $500.000, but as I progressed and did better, it went down. Gabby is the kind of girl who has to have it her way, so then in order not to get into a fight, I offered her more the next time, but the reason it was so low, was because she knocked out the $750,000 on her first case. It was good anyway. She "walked away" with $692.000, and had the $50,000 in her case. When we played it with my sis today, it was a lot better. Jake used the tripod for the camcorder, and had it connected to the tv, so that he could play the music and control the recorder without having to look at the camera all the time. When my sis was picked the case with the millon, I stalled and swapped it with the $100. Then when she got a snack, I put it in her case. I knew that she would go "all the way", so to speak, and didn't want her to be dissapointed with the $5 in her case. She went "all the way", like I thought she would, and was surprised at the $1,000,000 in her case. I guess that she had accidentally seen the $5, but when she saw the millon she just thought that she saw something else. Well, I've talked long enough, so GTG!

Mar. 16, 2008 - Wooooooooooooddddddeeeeeeey

Now, I know that my title is not accually how you spell Woody, but that is how it sounds when it comes out of Jesse's mouth. Yes, I know that I have been talking about TOY STORY a lot, but it is all I really have to talk about, and what is so funny is that when I was 1,2,3&4, I loved TOY STORY just as much, I know, Jesse is a little boy after my own heart. I love waking up to my little brother walking in and saying "diddie", which means sissie, I love having him follow me around in the morning just waiting till I get my bowl of cereal. After that he is doing "more"  in sign language. He loves KIX especially, and trys to chew like me. It is so cool to see how EVERYTHING I do, he thinks is the right thing, but not always, like when I flick Jake, or pinch laura, he tries to do the same. So I am working on that. He love to give headbutts, and gives them frequently. LOL. Well, gotta go check on Jake, he is sick, so he stayed home today, and I stayed with him. Funny, he is almost 10, but he still clings to his big sis. I love that kid. OH, and about the title, when Laura went to AWANA on tuesday, she bought Jesse a little 4 inch rubber Woody doll. He takes it EVERYWHERE. And everywhere we go, and he sees something that is Woody or Buzz, he FREAKS!, KK, now I gotta go. BYE!

Mar. 13, 2008 - Hi

Hi everyone-

How r u? I am bored, I WAS watching SURVIVOR, it is one of my all-time favorites, seriously. You know how we got a lot of snow? Well that was followed by about 10 days of sun, and now rain! can you belive it? I think that the sonw is going to melt fast this year. LOL. Winter is normally about 5-6 months, it just depends, you know? Here is a poem I wrote a while ago for school. I am realizing that I should start posting school stuff, because this is a website partially about school, right?

Here it is:

I am a Home-Schooled girl who loves Egypt.

I wonder about Ancient Egypt.

I hear the wind whispering at night.

I see the Pharaohs of Egypt feasting.

I want to be an Egyptologist.

I am a Home-Schooled girl who loves Egypt.

I pretend to travel in Egypt with a camel caravan.

I feel amazed when I think about Ancient Egypt.

I touch King Tutankhamen’s tomb.

I worry about people in Egypt who don’t know Christ.

I cry with happy feelings about Ancient Egypt.

I am a Home-Schooled girl who loves Egypt.

I understand that Archeology is difficult.

I know that God is real.

I dream of going to the Sphinx and The Great Pyramids.

I try to do well in school.

I hope to fly above the Nile River in Egypt.

I am a Home-Schooled girl who loves Egypt.

Hope you liked it.
