Apr. 14, 2008 - Dropped...................off the face of the EARTH!
HI!
You all proboally think that I have dropped off the face of the earth! Well, I haven't, just been busy. Here is what has happened since Easter.
We have had workers in the basement, lots of them. That's one of the reasons why I haven't been on. We have had electricians, and carpenters, and plumbers, and vacuum guys, and well a few more workers than that. The electricians had to disconnect the internet for a while. Another reason why I haven't been on is because our past few weeks have been CHOCK full. Take a look at this example, it is not perfact, since I don't remember all of the past few weeks, but most of it is accurate. :
Monday- Baseball
Tuesday- Awana
Wednesday- Piano, Youth Group
Thursday-Baseball at the Batting Cages
Friday- School
Saturday- (MORE) Baseball
Sunday- A day of rest. = )
That is a normal week. So, that pretty much explains why I haven't been on. Oh, my mom was at a CHEA confrence in San Jose this weekend, and my dad was in Denver at a Boiler show, and we stayed at my Mimi's. On Friday I spent the night at my friend's house. we stayed up really late doing a book by KLUTZ, called PAPER FASHIONS. It is sooooo much fun. we made sooo many designs. I had a lot of fun. Then, yesterday, my Cousin Gabby and her dad and sis came over. They spent the night, and Gabby, me, and Jake played DEAL OR NO DEAL, the card game, in a modified version. We found the music from th show, and played it while we played the game. We played 2 games, one where she was the host, and one where I was. We recorded it on video, but it turned out really bad, because jake was our techno guy, and our camera man, and he kept going off the focus, and half the time it was pointed in the corner, but it was funny to watch! I won $400.000 and she won $682,000. She got mad at me for offering her a realistic price for her case, which was $92,000. We each had to be the "banker". My first offer was $500.000, but as I progressed and did better, it went down. Gabby is the kind of girl who has to have it her way, so then in order not to get into a fight, I offered her more the next time, but the reason it was so low, was because she knocked out the $750,000 on her first case. It was good anyway. She "walked away" with $692.000, and had the $50,000 in her case. When we played it with my sis today, it was a lot better. Jake used the tripod for the camcorder, and had it connected to the tv, so that he could play the music and control the recorder without having to look at the camera all the time. When my sis was picked the case with the millon, I stalled and swapped it with the $100. Then when she got a snack, I put it in her case. I knew that she would go "all the way", so to speak, and didn't want her to be dissapointed with the $5 in her case. She went "all the way", like I thought she would, and was surprised at the $1,000,000 in her case. I guess that she had accidentally seen the $5, but when she saw the millon she just thought that she saw something else. Well, I've talked long enough, so GTG!
