Oct. 8, 2007 - I am Back...Finally
YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Ok well I haven’t posted in a whiles cause I have been grounded as I have told many of you already
So since I haven’t posted in a while I will tell you about my weekend (if you are not in the mood to read a long post then don’t bother reading this one). Well Saturday our churches youth (a.k.a. me and my sisters) hosted a youth party at our church we had people from a few other churches come. That morning we got up ya know everything is going nice and slow then all of the sudden when my mom got up……………..TO BE CONTINUED…………….JK ……….. She could barley move. When she was climbing over a baby gate couple days before she did something to her back, so she had to take some medicine and it kind of knocks you out so we had to get Caleb (he was the other I guess leader for the party he goes to church in Lawtey) to come all the way from Lawtey to drive my mom to the hospital which happened to be right by the church. So we ended up dropping her off and going straight to the church. When we got to the church and started to unload all the stuff btw there happened to be a whole bunch of it –it started to rain really hard. After we unloaded, got our instruments set up and every one was there we started with a few games to break the ice. The first game went like this: you would say you name then a food that starts with the first letter of you name then an adjective that starts with the first letter of you name. Here are all the names we had and yes sadly I still remember them so any way here they are: Alyssia the angry apple, Melinda the mad marshmallow, Brena the beautiful banana, Ben the bad bacon (btw there is no such thing as bad bacon), Kayla the cyan carnal, Robert the rude radish, Caleb the cute cotton candy, Beniah the bodacious broccoli, Spencer the supercalafradjalisticexbealadoshis spaghetti,
Serena the silly sloppy Joe and Morgan the marvelous macaroni. The other game is called
Fuzzy bunny, the object of the game is t have the most marshmallows in your mouth when the game is over. Caleb won he had 17 and btw these are the big ones. Then we played spoons this is a very violent sport. The object of the game is to have four of the same card. Here is how you play, there a dealer he gives every on four cards when each person has four cards the dealer takes a card of the top of the deck and see if he needs it or not if he does he keeps it and passes a card he had in his deck if he doesn’t he just passes that card. When someone has four cards he/she grabs a spoon the person who doesn’t get the spoon loses and is out you continue this routine till there is only one person left then he/she is the winner.
Well the music was my favorite part all thought I didn’t get to play the drums I got to play the guitar lol I was lie addicted to it the whole night. I died holding that guitar but that is another game and I really don’t fell like explaining it so any way the party started at 5:00 and ended at 10:00 I had a lot of fun besides the part were I hurt my self on almost every thing I touched for instance on the drive home Morgan yelled Padidle when I went to hit the roof I hit the air vent *ouch* so it was miserable getting up for church the next morning.
