What an exciting weekend we had! Let’s see if I can break it down by days for you…

On Friday, the girls and I took my mom with us to White Water. Mom watched the girls and I rode all of the rides with Vanessa and Vallerie. We got a little too much sun, but it was fun. On Friday night, we stayed went camping at Indian Point Campground. Darin and I had borrowed a tent from Matt and Anna Marie. It was a good time. We were all really tired, but it was still good.

On Saturday, we went to Silver Dollar City with Mom, Dad, and Joshua. We had a very good day. I got to ride all of the rides that I wanted to. Mom doesn’t like to ride the rides so she watched the kids while I went with Dad, Josh, and Darin on the rides. Tori got to ride her very first rides. She is getting to grown up. We stayed for the evening show. The show was neat. The cast was very talented. It was a country music show so there was a lot of line dancing. Vanessa spent the intermission imitating the dancing. I am not sure how I feel about it. J

On Saturday night, or very early Sunday morning (about 3:00 am) some storms came rolling in. Our tent (in spite of what it said on the box) was not leak proof. Darin and I could have handled it, but everywhere that we moved Tori she got dripped on. Finally, as I was holding her and holding an umbrella over the two of us, we decided to come home (about 4:30 am). We went back later in the morning to get our tent and all our stuff. Everything in the tent was soaked. Oh well, it was still a good trip.
