Frozen Strawberry Dessert

I threw this together for dessert last night and everyone loved it so much I thought I would share.  It's super quick and easy too!

4c frozen strawberries (I get the big bag at Costco)

4c plain yogurt

2c xylitol (or sucanat or...sugar)

or you can use 4c vanilla yogurt and no sweetener

Blend in blender until smooth.  Pour in 9x13" glass dish and freeze about 3 hours.  Slice it or scoop it and eat.

Refreshing and delicious!

Oh this does sound delecious! Do you think that organic sugar cane would work for the sweetener or honey?

So would that be considered frozen yogurt? LOL

I think organic sugar cane should work fine. Sucanat sometimes doesn't dissolve well and might leave it a little grainy, but I don't think organic sugar cane should have that problem. I prefer xylitol because it is so good for you, but it is hard to find and sort of expensive.

Yes, I guess it really is frozen yogurt :)
