Farmer EliEli is in from plowing the fields. Er, I mean swimming.
He's my sweet boy. Every time he catches my eye he says "Mom, I love you". Which is about 20 times a day, maybe more. I think he says it whenever he doesn't know what else to say, but I'll take it. If Ethan or Ezra are within earshot it sets off a chain reaction of I love you's, sometimes accompanied by kisses and hugs. And people say motherhood isn't rewarding. A Visit From AfarLast month Mike's mom and dad came to visit. We had a wonderful time together, it was really good to see them after so long. I'm going to post lots of pictures from their trip because they don't read the words on the blog, they only look at the pictures. If I don't have a lot of pictures they won't think we thought much of the visit
They had a better picture of Hailey at her recital, so I am posting that one here too.
This is the card that Hailey made Eli for his birthday. She did a great job with her newly learned calligraphy skills.
My Siamese Twins
Every day Papa spent lots of time with the kids in the pool. They thought it was great to have him to swim with.
He convinced Eli that his floaty would hold him up. Something we had been thus far unable to do.

Posing for the camera
So there you have it, a pictorial representation of time spent with Nana and Papa. The girls are wishing we lived close enough for frequent piano and calligrapy tutorials. Water FunEli broke out the water toy he bought with Aunt Cyndi's birthday money the other day. He and Ezra had a great time cooling off in the water spray. It was a big hit!
Sound BitesEli: Mom, can I get up? I can? Thanks! Mom, I love you because you let me get up. I'm gonna listen to you for ever and ever because you tell me good things.
Funny how easy it is to listen when we are being told "good things".
Ethan: Look mom, I can swim in the hose without my floaty!"
Sierra was complaining of a bad headache so I sent I her to bed. A while later I sent Hailey to check on her. Hailey: She still doesn't feel good. (sits at table to eat) Me: She wants to stay in bed? H: Yea 15 minutes go by... H: Oh yea, she threw up all over the floor and a book. I should have told you earlier that she thought she might.
Yea, maybe so.
But better this week than next I guess. { Last Page } { Page 2 of 2 } { Next Page } |
