About Me

A mild-mannered homeschool mom who is faster than a speeding flash card, more powerful than a mega-workbook, and able to leap tall unabridged bilingual dictionaries in a single bound! Look! Up in cyberspace! It's a flamenco skirt! It's an irregular verb chart! No, it's just me, and it's time to learn Spanish.

¿Dónde está el osito?

Posted in phrase of the week

Photobucket

Phrase of the week:

¿Dónde está el osito?
(DOHN-deh ehs-TAH ehl oh-SEE-toh)

Where is the teddy bear?

Note: the proper way to say teddy bear is "osito de peluche" or "osito de felpe", but it is often simply shortened to "osito".

*This week's phrase brought to you by a little boy who had us turning the house upside down for two hours searching for an oh-so-important Webkinz stuffed animal.*
