Unnecessary worries of an environmentalist
Earlier today while hiking in the woods of a local park, Tinuviel found a little pink 'rubber ball'. On further examination, it was found to be a paintball (actually it popped/exploded all over Tinuviel). We found several already popped ones, and a few unpopped ones. I was not thrilled. The idea of someone painting up trees and harming our last Middle-earth refuge was not an idea that thrilled me. As it turns out, I had no need to worry. Paintballs shells are actually made of a biodegradable/non-toxic gelatin, which is non-toxic, and the 'paint' inside is made out of food coloring and other substances that are also non-toxic, and biodegradable. You could eat the paintball, and be fine. So our last Middle-earth refuge is in no danger of being destroyed because of paintball-playing people. I am extremely happy. But I need to go now, hopefully I'll post again soon.
As you can tell from the title, I got a web-site! It's not perfect yet, but it's something, please take a look at it. (by the way, thank you Tinuviel for all your help, oh yay, you too dad!) Sea Berries

8 Things That Attract Me to My Best Friend(s):
Their willingness to listen to me go on, and on, and on, about mine and Queen Flora's story. (I'm really sorry, and I will try to do better by the way)
Knowing that they struggle with the same stuff I do. So I don't think I'm the only one messing up anymore.
They're all just as crazy about Tolkien as I am!
I can talk to them about almost anything.
Their crazy senses of humor
They way I can joke around with them, I don't have to worry about hurting their feelings, I know they know I'm just kidding, and they think it's funny too, they have good senses of humor.
They understand when I go on and on about animals, they don't tease me.
It's just nice having friends there to do things with. Before I met Daydreamer and Tinuviel, the only friend I had was Queen Flora, and though she's one of my best friends, and always will be, she lives about four hours away, so I don't get to see her that much. It's really nice to be able to just call Tinuviel and ask if she wants to go biking today.
8 Things I've Learned This (past) Year:
A little HTML
Well, I don't know if this really counts as learning something, but Queen Flora and I came up with some really good ideas for our story
Never --- I repeat, never --- make fun of Spider-Man and Harry unless Tea Party Girl and Eni, are at leas a hundred miles away.
That I'm an elf, and I'm not the only one
That it is really not fun to have to share a computer with a Webkinz lover.
That pet sitting is a really good way to earn some extra money.
Well, since I have nothing else to say, I thought I would tell you some of the geeky things I do, and, come to think of it, most of them are either LOTR related, or related to the story me and Queen Flora are writing together.
1. I can recite almost the entire prologue from the Fellowship of the Ring, from memory (and I'm only missing about two sentences.
2. When we visited my grandparents for Christmas, I spent the whole weekend running around their house saying 'Mae govannen, eneth nin Nimrodel' and asking my cousin, and my uncles what it meant.
3. At home school PE when we played hockey, I enjoyed walking up and down the gym with my hockey stick, saying 'the courtesy of your hall is some what lessened of late, Theoden, King' and (borrowing Tinuviel's hockey stick, and holding both our in front of me) 'I will draw you, Saruman, as poison is drawn from a wound.'
And if you think this is geeky, I haven't even begun to tell you about mine and Queen Flora's story!
1. Every time I watch LOTR TT, of LOTR ROTK, when ever Faramir appears on the screen, I say 'Rean-Hammon *squealing*" or 'there's him' because me and Queen Flora think Faramir looks like our character Rean-Hammon.
2. If you were to show me a pic of a Jeep, and ask what was the first thing that popped into my mind, I would say 'Raindant,' because me and Queen Flora came up with our character Raindant in my aunts red Jeep.
3. When ever I play a sport I don't like, I say 'Lydia does not play' what ever sport I'm playing
4. Lately, when ever I get mad at some one, I thretten them by saying 'Rean-Hammon will murder you tonight in your sleep'
Well, this is my list of geeky things, comment and tell me the geeky things you do (seriously people, comment, I'm dying to get more comments!) (And, oh, I know you at least have some geeky things to list Queen Flora, your just as geeky as me when it comes to our story.)

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday Queen Floraaaaa,
Happy birthday to you!
Well today is her majesty Queen Flora's fifteenth birthday, so I am throwing her this blog party.
First off, this party his hosted in the mysterious forest of the Borderlands. Unfortunately, I cannot find a pic of the Borderlands, but here's one of Hanaskea, the realm of Queen Flora.
Oh, and guess who I invited, HIM (aka, Rean-Hammon, the character from our story)
And here is her cake,
Place where I got this pic And I've been saving the best for last, her last present is *drum roll*.....
Her very own GPS SYSTEM!!!
Place where I got this pic
Now you can go to Hobby Lobby without getting lost! Yay Queen Flora! Well I hope you like you birthday party Queen Flora,
~ Lydia, the queen with the power to behead you, but since it's your birthday, I guess I won't (it's an inside joke)
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. After Christmas I was busy, and then on Friday, I was busy writing mine and Queen Flora's story, because we had some great ideas for it. I was going to update yesterday, but I got kicked of the computer by Tea Party Girl, before I could, so she could go on Webkinz (I hate those little things, ever since Tea Party Girl got another one for Christmas, thats all she's wanted to do) and then I had to go babysit for a neighbor, and I was there from noon, till nine o'clock at night. Yeah that was a long day, I was so tired when I got home.
Well I hope you had a very good Christmas, I did, this was the first time in five years that we stayed home for Christmas, and it was really nice. I got a really nice iHome, a nice sweater, some jewelry, and probably the best present from my parents, The Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit! I also got my own domain from my cousin (well it was supposed to be from him, my uncle is the one who bought it) but me and my dad are having a little trouble with it, and right now the only thing on it is a message that says "Forbidden". Isn't that cool!?
Well before I sign out I want to show you this little thing I wrote:
A message from your author friend:
Today I am a little goofy/loopy, you see I have just come up with a good idea for my story, so you will most likely see me:
A: jumping up and down
B: squealing
C: shaking uncontrollably
Pay no mind to me, I am only the excited author, and what I say and do is totally irrelevant to you, or any one else (excluding my story characters)
Thank you for your patience
P.S. If your author friend happens to be Queen Flora or Nimrodel, I would not advice you watch The Lord of the Rings the Two Towers, or The Return of the King with them, as they will most likely say "Rean-Hammon" every time they see Faramir.

Finally! I have figured out how to fix my computer and I can finally post about my cute little cat, Abby. Abby is a ten-year-old black calico I've had since I was three and a half years old; my parents found her and her siblings living by our house, when my dad was in the army. We took care of them until their mother could be caught, because they were still nursing. Then we gave them to our neighbors, who had managed to catch mama cat, then the neighbors, asked me, a three and a half year old, if I wanted to keep one, don't ask me why they thought to do that, but they did. And since my mom didn't want to have to tell me no, she let me have one. And let me tell you God has really blessed me with her. I'm only just realizing that at tree years old, the chances of ending up with a cat that fit my life style was pretty slim, but God protected me, and I ended up with the best cat I could possibly have gotten, she is just the perfect cat for me, she loves to be petted and she sleeps with me almost every night, and she's so soft. Recently she's taken to playing with a little stuffed pink poodle, she bats it around, and she also carries it around the house; I have found it in my bed in the morning at least four times, and my mom has seen her come down stairs, get it, and go back up. It's so funny! I don't have any pictures of her carrying the poodle, because she always stops when she notices some one is watching, but here's pic of her. Sorry it's so small.

I live in a town where there are many, many illegal immigrants, and most of them don't speak English. This really bothers me, we have signs in English (of course) and then under them we have the same sign in Spanish. The librarians have to be able to speak fluent Spanish, and a teacher at the local elementary school was fired becuse she didn't speak Spanish. This is America, and in America we speak English. I've got nothing against Mexican people, and I understand that it is hard to become a legal citizen, but the least they could do is learn English. My great, great grandparents came to America from Crovatia almost a hundred years ago, and they managed to learn English; there were no signs for them in Crovatian, they had to learn our langage.
A couple towns away from my town, there was a man who owned an appartment building, that a lot of illegal immigrants lived in, well he wanted to fix the appartment up, to get higher paying people to move in. So he started a rumor that the government was coming to check peoples green cards, well a Mexican restaurant nearby had to close for the day beacause no one came to work, they were afraid of being caught woorking without a green card. This is how bad it is in the area around my town. I'll say it again, I've got nothing against Mexican people, and I do understand that it is hard to become a legal citizen, but the least they could do is learn English.
My missing muse, Scrabble, and vacation to the middle of nowhere
Well I guess my muse ran off with Tinuviel's. I haven't been inspired to write anything, stories, poems, blog posts, anything in probably a week! So please keep an eye out for my muse to, especially if your near beautiful nature, or Enya music, as these particularly attract my muse.
On another subject, last night I went to Tinuviel's house for dinner and afterward, me, Tinuviel, and Mr. Cool played a game of Scrabble, that was my first full game of Scrabble, and it was a lot of fun. At one point I played "zeal" on a triple word score space! (for those of you unfamiliar with Scrabble, there is only one "Z" in the whole game, and it's worth ten points! On a triple word score space, the whole word was worth 41 points, latter, I played "jug" for 21 points! For jug!! It was pretty funny. Though in the end, I lost. But at least Tinuviel won!
A quick note, I will not be posting Friday the 23rd, through Sunday the 25th, for sure, as I will be staying at my aunts house in the middle of NOWHERE!! I'm talking gravel roads, well water, no cell signal, and dial up Internet! It is with out a doubt, the slowest computer I have ever been on!! And I do not have the patience to send an e-card, much less write a whole post! Well I got to go, as my family is getting ready to watch "National Treasure" with hits to the second one at the comercials.
~Nimrodel
P.S. My aunt (who's only eleven months older than me) (who is also going to visit my other aunt in the middle of nowhere) just got a blog, check it out here.
Hello, it's me, Nimrodel. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been on vacation to visit my aunt (who's my age), Queen Flora. Right now we're baking some cookie bars, but she has run to the store with her mom, to get some powdered sugar for the frosting to decorate the cookie bars, so I thought I'd take a minute to update mine and Tinuviel's blog.
Well, last night me and Queen Flora went tao visit a friend of ours, and as we were watching a movie, the TV turned off. While our friend Mrs. Dragon, went to check out what had happened, I joked with Queen Flora that Harry had done it with his bombs. Well on the way home we found out that there was an explosion at the power-plant, not far from Mrs. Dragons home, that was what mde the TV go out. And we almost didn't get back to Queen Flora's house, because all the road to her house, from Mrs. Dragons house, were closed... except one. We were all hoping that we wouldn't be able to get home, so we could stay the night, but no, we got back just fine... unfortunately. And, well, not much else has happed, mostly me and Queen Flora just sit around talking, so I don't have any more to say except that I had a very good time at Mrs. Dragons house.

If you havent noticed, Christmas, is coming earlier and earlier each year. When my family went to get Spidey a Halloween costume, the store had Christmas stuff out, it was in back of the Halloween stuff but still. And yesterday my family listened to Nonstop Christmas music on the radio, they're going to be playing Christmas music 24/7 till Christmas! They've completely by-passed Thanksgiving! IT'S CRAZY!
Hi! well I know that I haven't posted in a few days, so I figured I'd do it now. First of all, I got some pictures of my Halloween costume, their not very good, especially since I couldn't get a picture with the hoop skirt under the real skirt, but it will give you an idea.
Like I said not that good. On to other subjects, I finally saw Spider-Man 3, I didn't get to see it in the theaters, since by the time Tinuviel got me to see the first two, the third one was out of the theaters. It was good, but I didn't like the ending, (I won't say what I didn't like, because I don't want to give anything away for those of you who haven't seen it) and Peter Parker had a little bit of an ego, from being Spider-man. But it was still good, and it had a really good lesson about forgiveness, and revenge. And I'm hoping to write a review on it (but I won't promise anything, I have a habit of wanting to do something, but never getting around to it.)
~ Nimrodel
I just wanted to take a minute to thank Tinuviel for our new look. I LOVE IT!! I'm hopeless with HTML, or at least nearly hopeless, (I've learned a little from Tinuviel) so I could never had fixed our blog up so nice, so thanks Tinuviel! Later we'll post some about the Halloween party we went to last night.
~ Nimrodel
Well I'll finally get to post this post, I've wanted to post it for three days, but me and Tinuviel had to set up our blog first. And long story short, we had to sign up three times because we kept making mistakes. Now we finally got it to work, so now I can post my post.
Well, three nights ago I was woken up at four in the morning by a howling sound, I was half asleep and for some bizarre reason I thought it was my eleven year old sister and my six year old sister playing wolves. I jolted awake when I realized, a few moments later, that it wasn't my sisters, it was foxes! I've never heard foxes before, and I love animals, so I jumped out of bed, and ran to my window, it was to dark to see anything, but it sounded like there was at least three or four foxes in our or our next door neighboors back yard. It only lasted a few more minutes before they stopped, I was so excited I woke my mom up to tell her, I knew I'd never get to sleep if I didn't tell SOMEONE! It was so cool!

We go by Nimrodel and Tinuviel, two bosom friends writing a blog together. As you may have already noticed, we both possess a deep love for all things
Elven, and are convinced that we're really elves in disguise. (Hey, girls can dream, can't they?) We're Christians, and do our best to honor God in all
things.
