---This story is a narrative of something I was playing with my siblings and cousins, hence its utter weirdness. The main characters are as follows:
Myself, whom I shall refer to as Leaf- I, simply because I am the most well-read and experienced one out of the four of us, am usually a major contributor to the storyline.
"Blair-" My 13 year old brother. He's not terribly imaginative, mostly he just likes to shoot things whenever we do stuff like this.
"Nicole-" My ten year old sister. She likes to contribute to the plot, as long as she is the priamry character.
"Maria-" My crazy six year old cousin. She is a very livewire type of thinker, and always adds something, um, interesting to the story.
This time we are interplanetary explorers sailing outside the reaches of the solar system just to see what we find.
The setting: a state park, or more specifically, a playground that looks like a wooden ship next to a lake with lots of geese---
"They're shooting at us! Leaf, fire the DNA cannons!" Blair shouted from the helm.
"But Blair, we don't know what kind of creatures are firing on us. We would have to program the cannons first, and we can't do that without living tissue. Let's just launch a bio bomb."
"Okay. You do that, and I'll steer the ship." As soon as Blair finished vocabulating his sentence, another, younger voice came up from below. "Captain Leaf! Captain Blair! There's a planet up ahead!"
"We saw it, Maria. Wait a minute," Leaf squinted out the helm's window, "there's a whole fleet of them!" *a flock of geese walk across the beach and into the water* "Open fire!" Leaf joined Nicole in the ship's hull and they launched a few more bombs. They could see the planet more clearly now, as they chugged along at 60,000 miles per second. It appeared to be half covered in water, and the other half covered in city with small patches of purple and green. Nicole put the ship's shields up, and they cruised into the atmosphere. The air readings were almost identical to earth's, so Leaf presumed they wouldn't be needing any air tanks or special suits. Blair leaned over the railing and asked the three girls, "So, who's going down?"
"I think we all can if we want to, we'll just lock up the ship and program it to respond to voice recognition." Leaf said as she passed out laser pistols. "Everyone ready?"
"Yep."
"Yeah."
"Yeah." They locked up the ship and carefully walked down a trail of some sort, keeping a watchful eye for any of the aliens.
