CPR for family and friends

First I will discuss Heart attack.  A heart attack is common in elderly people, and diabetics.  If your grandfather or another elderly person is clutching his or her chest in pain, ask him or her if he or her is in serious pain and if they say it hurts or if they don't talk because of the pain, phone 911!

Now Adult CPR: You see a man or woman, your mom or dad,for example, you gently shake him or her softly and yell, "Mom are you OK!" or "Dad are you OK!" and if he or she won't respond get another adult and call 911 (or send someone else to call,if you ARE an adult).  Tilt the head and open the jaw, plug the victims nose and blow and breathe until experts arive or the victim revives.

Before I do anything else,I will discuss the Heimlich maneuver.

  1. Ask hm if he can talk

  2. If not, stand behind the victim and put fist on (the thumb side) the naval.

  3. Push in and up on victims stomach.

Hope your life will be CPR free.  If not,use these directions.
