A new year!

Oh the prospects!  I'm forty this year... Or as I like to say, "Half way to dead."

Life is all about opportunity,  Such a gift God has given and now let us make the most of it for His glory.

I don't make resolutions because I feel you should never put off changing your life.  So You should never wait until a date to change.  If it needs changing/fixing... DO IT NOW!

But I have made a few decisions about what I want to do when school starts again on Monday.  The children will be listening to 26 lessons on the doctrine of God from a great teacher out of California.

This is meaty stuff.  My older ones will participate and the younger will just absorb.

In parenting we have taken in hand the stewardship of lives for Christ which He has entrusted to us.  Thank God He has taken us in hand and won't let go.

Philippians 1:3-11  I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Hi, I so enjoyed your stopping by my blog the other day. Also, thanks for sharing the Calvary Bible Church resource--I am looking into ways to make our Bible Study more effective, and I always appreciate different ways of approaching learning. I will look into this.

Your blog is lovely--is the snow-laden tree yours, or is this just the particular template you've chosen?
