Emmaus Farm

The summer is setting

We are half way through August and where we live the last week of August is relatively cold.  Relatively meaning it can get into the lower 80s sometiomes 70s.  We are busy with 4-H and running toward fair deadlines.

The quilt is still onthe table (literally) but I am slow on it as other things need my attention. It is all cut and the 4 inch squares are done.  I have started sewing the 14 inch squares.  I also have my next project picked out and purchased.  Zipping right alone.

School is coming into focus.  We should be starting this month but I may wait until after fair just to have the last of our rest, finish up fair and do a little fall cleaning before we huddle down for winter.  I also need to set up Cubbies.  ACK!  Just looked at the calendar.  Need to get on that soon!

Very little camping this summer. We are hoping to camp on the first day of hunting season.  Fall is such a great time to be out!  Anna, Josh and Paul enjoy hunting while the rest of us like the time around the fire and in the woods.  Just being together is great.
