After the Constitutional Convention had finished its work in 1787, a woman asked Ben Franklin what kind of government had been decided upon. He replied:

"A republic, if you can keep it."

Remember Lincoln’s words at Gettyburg? 

“…and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

There are those who want more than anything to change this country; making the government our provider, our savior, our god

and Obama, his prophet.
