• 1.21.2008 - Urgent Prayer Request

Not sure if you know the Estes from Hands and Hearts.  They have a young son, Noah, who has a mitochondia defect which is wreaking havoc with his little body.  He is in fairly bad shape right now.  I have never met the Estes, but from what I can tell from their blog, they are dynamic Christians who really love and depend on the Lord.  Please pray that the spirit of fear will not overtake them, and that the peace that passes understanding will envelope them at this time.  Go over to their blog and read New to Our Blog, Read This First, then read Monday Update #1.  As of this writing, she hasn't put up a #2 update.  I guarantee that you will not be able to read it with dry eyes.  This family is quite an inspiration to me.  So much has gone on in their lives, but they are really living and leaning on Christ.

Thanks for letting me know about baby Noah. My mom has been to their blog several times... I will let a everyone on my mailing list know.

And, though I am not able to reply to your comments, I thank you greatly for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I really do enjoy them. ; )

Oh and yes Jane Eyre is by Bronte. I was just saying we watched that the week before. The Bronte's aren't a favourite.

And I just recently bought the Emma with my favourite actress... Paltrow. I can now watch it anytime! lol

And agreed with the A&E version of P&P. The 2006 was not a favourite and they mushed it together....too short.

It seems the Dixon's have taken over your bloglog. lol

Yes. It was VERY time consuming. But I did it at night when mom didn't need me or the computer. :)

Thanks! That was my 4th time taking the permit test! Sad, I know.

Yeah, Levi's not too little any more. He's 15 months. Going on 16!

I'll be praying for that little baby Noah. Poor little guy.

Hiya!
We're still praying for little Noah over here!

I'm still knitting away at my squares - hopefully, not too many more to do now before the throw is finished! I hope it turns out OK in the end - it will look so good on our sofa (which has seen better days!) and will also keep me warm if it gets chilly in the evenings!

About the Entmoot

Our family loves the books of J.R.R. Tolkien, especially "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy. An Entmoot is a gathering of Ents (Shepherds of the Trees) to discuss issues. We thought this was a wonderful word picture to describe our zany family.
