Hi everybody!
I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I finally came to a decision.
I'm moving.
Yup, I'm not going to blog on HSB anymore.
I will keep up (hopefully) with my story blog and some of the other blogs I'm involved
with on here (like Inklings), but for the most part, I think I will now use Blogger with Google.
PLEASE still visit my blog!!! Anyone can comment, not just registered users...so you don't have
to have a Google account to comment on my blog. And PLEASE give me the links to your blogs
in a comment, so I can post them on my new blog and visit!! Here is my new blog address:

I will probably keep my HSB blog up for a while (or forever, if I'm too lazy to take it down),
and hopefully I'll still remember to comment on other blogs...I'm rather sad I'm leaving,
but I just feel that this will be easier. And if I don't like it after a while, I might come back. ;)

Jul. 8, 2009 - back, and I feel like BLAH
Well, we're back! I'm afraid I'm not doing too well right now...for one thing,
most of us got sick the last day of our vacation, and I'm still sick from that.
Then also, our little dog Scruffy died today, from an
enlarged heart/congestive heart failure. :( I'm a little down today, so I won't
make a big entry. Our week in Canada, however, was terrific! We had an
awesome time. Unluckily, it rained off and on, but we made the most of it
by playing cards and such. I got to meet a whole bunch of amazing teens
there, and we just had a blast. Thanks for all your prayers, I'm sure they
helped in keeping away the sickness for so long! Also on the plus side,
I got an amazing tan. ;) Oh yeah, and happy belated 4th of July!!
I think that's about all I'll say now, because I'm a little tired. It was a weird
day...anyways, continue to pray for me please, so that this sickness will
finally go away and I will get some peace concerning Scruffy's death, poor
thing. God bless you all!

Jun. 26, 2009 - VACATION!!
Hey all!!
This has to be a quick update, but just to let y'all know, we're going on vacation!!
To Canada!! And we're leaving TODAY (Friday) so pray for us!!
We'll be back on July 4th, late. So hopefully I'll update soon after!!
I'll miss y'all!!

Jun. 20, 2009 - Peekchurz!!!!!
After we watched "The Princess Bride" on the big screen at
church this evening (my dad has been running a movie series
for some weeks now, they're really fun), we had a zany time with
the camera. Here are three samples of my nuttiness....in a wig.

Oh yeah, and I dressed up too. I was Westley/The Dread Pirate
Roberts. It was a cool costume. :D [but sadly, no pictures]

Jun. 16, 2009 - New Look!
Okay I'm trying a new look for my blog...does it look good? What
do you think? Actually, it's a new look for my entries...see, I'm
trying to keep the text on the green bar back here. Cool, eh? It's
rather hard to do, but I'm working at it. I realized that the bright
pink text overlapping on the two backgrounds gets a little jarring,
so I'm being easier on y'all's eyes...and mine. =D

Today was a good day. :) Left at 11:45 this morning to go canoeing
with my brother and some friends. It was so awesome!!! My friends
--well, I don't want to give names, so I'll just call them Emily and
Anna. ;D Anyways, Emily and Anna and I were all in one canoe, and
we got out often to swim and hang on to the canoe and walk with the
boat. I swam in my clothes...for the second time in my life. =D
Swimming in clothes is actually really quite fun. So we canoed for
about seven miles down this river. The only downside was that there
were about 72 school kids in rafts on the river as well!! -but we were
extremely amused by watching/listening to them, so it was okay. =D
For instance, once a kid was standing up in the middle of the raft
screaming "I LOVE MY SHOES!" Speaking of which, at one point we did
that, Emily, Anna and I: stood up in the canoe and paddled. It worked!
AND it was fun. :D Then when we got back to the campsite, we had
hot dogs and chips and s'mores. And on the way home, we napped. ;)
It was AMAZING!!!! =D
So what else did I do today? Not much. I planted my vegetable garden
a couple hours after we got back. There are not too many plants in the
garden this year; we're a little too busy to handle anything big! It was lovely
working out in the garden in the evening, when dusk is falling and fireflies
are out. I think summer has officially started, now that fireflies are here. :-)
It's funny, though--if my mom had asked me to work out in the garden, I probably
would have complained. But since I did it without anyone telling me to, I felt
really happy doing it. Happens all the time! -like with cleaning the house and such.
It's bad, I know! I have to break myself of that habit! Pray for me!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot...I GOT MY TEMPORARY DRIVERS LICENSE!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
I've driven quite alot already; it's so fun!
So I guess that's about all I have to say at the moment...other than...Check out mah

I watched a really sweet movie tonight. It's called "A Walk in the Clouds". It's a very good romantic movie, vey well done and has good morals. [Though it is not recommended for anybody younger than a teenager. It's rather an adult movie.] I've been watching a lot of movies lately, actually! Star Trek, The Captain's Paradise, Iron Man...

May. 28, 2009 - busy, busy, busy
Well, here I am with a cat on my lap...
ooh wait, he's gone. *sigh*
He's the cutest li'l thing, and his name is Murry!! He showed up a few months ago at the theatre in town where my brother used to work, and he brought him home!! He's just DAWLIN"!!! :D :D :D
Anyways.
I skinned my knee, am covered in bug bites, had a piano recital, am just about done with school, watched the new Star Trek, and did all sorts of fun stuff. *happy sigh* About the skinned knee and the bug bites...well, let's just say that wearing flip-flops in the rain and staying up the whole night around a campfire without bug spray will do that. ;) About my piano recital...well, here's a picture!! :D
This was actually BEFORE the recital, when I was warming up. Ain't that just the purtiest dress?? *dies*

I did pretty well, I guess...everybody said I did terrific, but I had some mess-ups. *sigh* oh well, such is life. It was just me and the other piano student. We're good friends, and the only two students of our piano teacher. [Who, by the way, is downright hysterical!!] But we had a bunch of family and friends, and we got all dressed up, and our teacher gave us flowers!!!! It was cool. I would upload a video, but it takes waaaaaaaay too long. You'll just have to wait till I have some patience. ;D But at least there's a picture, right? :D
So yeah, school's almost out. WOOT!!!
And the new Star Trek rocked. I'm a big Trekkie myself, so it was great fun seeing new people who looked so similar to the old characters. I want to see it again!! :D [although there is ONE part that they could have left out... :/ ]
So...
anyways...
oh yeah, and last Friday I came home with six library books...and four of them are done. ;D Some of which were "Eragon" [love that book! -although you can kinda tell it's written by someone who is somewhat inexperienced ;) (boy, I'm one to talk!)] and "The Princess and the Goblin" -LOVE THAT BOOK!!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've been here!!!!! Sheeeeooooooot! I'm so sorry that I haven't replied to any comments or anything like that. *shakes finger at herself*
It's been crazy around here.
I can't wait for summer. Like seriously. :D
So what's been going on with y'all?? Not much other than school has been happening with me. I spent a school day at a really awesome private school the other day. I'm thinking about going there next year. But I'm still kinda waiting for God's opinion on the matter. ;)
I found out today that I really really like the band Fireflight, after listening to their song "Brand New Day" on the radio. WOOT!!!!!!! I recommend listening to them, if you like Christian rock; although if you don't like somewhat hard metal rock, then I DON'T recommend them. :P
Anyways.
Please don't stop commenting even though I haven't answered most of the comments. :P I still love you guys!! I just haven't gotten around to being a good girl and answering comments. *sigh* But HOPEFULLY, right after this, I'm going to answer some comments.

Apr. 20, 2009 - I'm bushed.
Well, the title says it all.
I AM BUSHED.
I woke up at 5:30 this morning, and decided I didn't really want to get up then; so I got up at 6:30 instead [note: this is after going to bed at 11:30]. Got my stuff together and went to church with me parents. Afterwards [about eight o'clock or so] they dropped me off at my baby-sitting job, my first "real" baby-sitting job! The "babies" were an eleven year old boy and a [I think] seven year old girl. The 11 year old can be a terror [nothing REALLY bad] but the girl is a sweetie pie. Anywho, I stayed there and got most of my Algebra lesson done; then a friend of ours picked up the little girl and I at 12:15 to go to a ballet class [the 11 year old could stay home by himself, his mom said, if he wanted to...and of course he did. Can you think of an 11 year old boy who would want to come watch a ballet class of little girls??]. The 7 year old is part of the class, and the only reason I was going was that the teacher has asked me to be her assistant. Just to let you know, I have basically no concept of ballet at all, and she only asked me because I take another type of dancing! So naturally I was somewhat worried, but on the whole I wasn't really nervous; I mean, it's only basic ballet so I figured I could do a pretty OK job. And I did. The lady is SO nice, and she's young [and really PRETTY!] so that made everything relaxed. I found it pretty easy to follow along [even when she wanted me to lead the little girls in steps!], but I have discovered that I am terribly out of shape. I could hear my tendons groaning as I stretched...After that, [which lasted an hour], the 7 year old and I went back to the baby-sitting house, and I stayed there for another hour or so. I was so pleased to find, when we arrived, that their Boxer, Gracie [who previously had been growling and looking suspiciously at me], acted like I was her best friend; and she was licking me and wagging her stump of a tail, and crawling on my lap. I fell in love with her, she's so SWEET!! Then the mom came home and drove me back to our house. Gracie came along, to my deep joy.
So now, I'm really tired. Bushed. Exhausted. Pooped. Nap-desirous. So for now, dear friends, I shall say au revoir.

I have breaking news...
It is highly possible I broke me poor foot. :( So I was putting away one of our big metal stepstools [they fold up into an impossible size, it's fascinatin'], when I accidentally knocked the stepstool I was holding against the stepstool that was hanging up on nails on the wall, and the BIG, METAL stepstool on the wall fell and landed on me foot. *winces at the memory*
My dad's a nurse, so he wants me to wait a couple days to see what my foot does; because if it isn't seriously broken, it might heal up on its own. Pray for meeeeeeee!!!
