May. 28, 2009 - busy, busy, busy
Well, here I am with a cat on my lap...
ooh wait, he's gone. *sigh*
He's the cutest li'l thing, and his name is Murry!! He showed up a few months ago at the theatre in town where my brother used to work, and he brought him home!! He's just DAWLIN"!!! :D :D :D
Anyways.
I skinned my knee, am covered in bug bites, had a piano recital, am just about done with school, watched the new Star Trek, and did all sorts of fun stuff. *happy sigh* About the skinned knee and the bug bites...well, let's just say that wearing flip-flops in the rain and staying up the whole night around a campfire without bug spray will do that. ;) About my piano recital...well, here's a picture!! :D
This was actually BEFORE the recital, when I was warming up. Ain't that just the purtiest dress?? *dies*

I did pretty well, I guess...everybody said I did terrific, but I had some mess-ups. *sigh* oh well, such is life. It was just me and the other piano student. We're good friends, and the only two students of our piano teacher. [Who, by the way, is downright hysterical!!] But we had a bunch of family and friends, and we got all dressed up, and our teacher gave us flowers!!!! It was cool. I would upload a video, but it takes waaaaaaaay too long. You'll just have to wait till I have some patience. ;D But at least there's a picture, right? :D
So yeah, school's almost out. WOOT!!!
And the new Star Trek rocked. I'm a big Trekkie myself, so it was great fun seeing new people who looked so similar to the old characters. I want to see it again!! :D [although there is ONE part that they could have left out... :/ ]
So...
anyways...
oh yeah, and last Friday I came home with six library books...and four of them are done. ;D Some of which were "Eragon" [love that book! -although you can kinda tell it's written by someone who is somewhat inexperienced ;) (boy, I'm one to talk!)] and "The Princess and the Goblin" -LOVE THAT BOOK!!

Oi LUVE Goodwill! We haunt the one we have over here. Virtually half or more my wardrobe is from Goodwill. Gotta luve it'h!
The Girls and I have watched a couple Star Trek episodes when we were bored on Saturday afternoons [I nearly spelled it Satyrday afternono, sounds like a different language] but we didn't get the plots, so we turned the volume way down and put words into their mouths. Muahaha. >:-D

YOU READ ERAGON!!!! Cool!!! I just started it! I like it so far! What I like more, is he got to do what we are trying to do, he was published as a young adult in training :D

I really liked Eragon too, I've read all of them and I can't WAIT for the last book! Have you seen the movie? I though it was okay, but not phenomenal or anything.

Yup, I play piano too! I've finished my 6th year this year, so you've done it alot longer than I have! Well, you're a year or two older than me, and you started when you were five, I started when I was eight.
