Jun. 16, 2009 - New Look!
Okay I'm trying a new look for my blog...does it look good? What
do you think? Actually, it's a new look for my entries...see, I'm
trying to keep the text on the green bar back here. Cool, eh? It's
rather hard to do, but I'm working at it. I realized that the bright
pink text overlapping on the two backgrounds gets a little jarring,
so I'm being easier on y'all's eyes...and mine. =D
Alrighty, so first I'd like to say that I've been awarded again! =D

Today was a good day. :) Left at 11:45 this morning to go canoeing
with my brother and some friends. It was so awesome!!! My friends
--well, I don't want to give names, so I'll just call them Emily and
Anna. ;D Anyways, Emily and Anna and I were all in one canoe, and
we got out often to swim and hang on to the canoe and walk with the
boat. I swam in my clothes...for the second time in my life. =D
Swimming in clothes is actually really quite fun. So we canoed for
about seven miles down this river. The only downside was that there
were about 72 school kids in rafts on the river as well!! -but we were
extremely amused by watching/listening to them, so it was okay. =D
For instance, once a kid was standing up in the middle of the raft
screaming "I LOVE MY SHOES!" Speaking of which, at one point we did
that, Emily, Anna and I: stood up in the canoe and paddled. It worked!
AND it was fun. :D Then when we got back to the campsite, we had
hot dogs and chips and s'mores. And on the way home, we napped. ;)
It was AMAZING!!!! =D
So what else did I do today? Not much. I planted my vegetable garden
a couple hours after we got back. There are not too many plants in the
garden this year; we're a little too busy to handle anything big! It was lovely
working out in the garden in the evening, when dusk is falling and fireflies
are out. I think summer has officially started, now that fireflies are here. :-)
It's funny, though--if my mom had asked me to work out in the garden, I probably
would have complained. But since I did it without anyone telling me to, I felt
really happy doing it. Happens all the time! -like with cleaning the house and such.
It's bad, I know! I have to break myself of that habit! Pray for me!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot...I GOT MY TEMPORARY DRIVERS LICENSE!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
I've driven quite alot already; it's so fun!
So I guess that's about all I have to say at the moment...other than...Check out mah

The canoeing sounds fun! Did you know that I've never been in a boat in my entire life? *Sigh* And I don't swim too often either because if I get water in my ears I get earaches. Ugh. It all sounds like tons of fun though!
Congratulations on getting the temporary drivers license!
And I'm super excited about my new little sibling! I wonder if it's a boy or a girl? I want a sister! I already have five brothers, I really want to finally get a sister!
How many siblings do you have? I forgot...

I am doing good. Thank you. I have just a had a cold thing for the week so that hasn't been fun...but otherwise things are going good. :) Nothing much has happened. Umm...I am looking to be the singer for a band though...so I'll be with them for a while and then I'll get an answer for sure on weither or not I'll be their singer. So that is exciting! =)
