Mar. 31, 2008 Much has happened !
Geez, I've not been on here in forever!!! So for starters I had a baby =)!
Joshua Gage was born on 1/24/08 weighing 8lbs8oz and at 9 weeks in now 15 lbs!!
My DH lost his job back in November and just got started a new one 3 weeks ago. So we were broke through Christmas and the birth of our 4th child. But God provided and we learned some lessons!
Also while I was still in the hospital with my baby I had some trouble with my lungs and heart and found out I have peripartum cardiomyopathy. If you want to read more about what this is click here .
Still homeschooling for now though I'm doubting we will continue next year, though part of me really wants to. I took about a month of after baby and am really just last week getting FULLY back into it. Really feeling great about it too =).
I will try and post again at least in the next couple of weeks.

Oct. 12, 2007 Something Else
I've been working on Gracie's room and I'll have to put up some pictures if we ever finish! So far she has purplish walls and I painted her old wood desk white. This weekend I'm painting her old dressor white. After that everything will take more money!!
I want to buy her:
white sheer curtains +rod
mostly white quilt
round canopy to drape over top part of bed
several girly (not disney) fairy pictures for the wall.
white full length mirror
keyboard stand so it's not on her desk or floor
cute wooden chair for her desk
White wooden bookshelf, hopefully a corner one
Anybody want to donate ;)! LOL! I hoping by Christmas it can be all done! |

Oct. 12, 2007 It's been a little while
Well I was trying to post once a week or more, but it's been a little while!
Guess I've not felt like typing about anything spectacular! School is work is mostly going well. My highly distractable son did so well when I read while he did handwriting! He was so proud of how quick and neat he was! And he retained most of the history I was reading! So I thought I'd have them draw/color while I did our Bible story. WRONG.... I told them to draw what I was reading about (Mary & Joseph), he couldn't figure what to draw at all and it stressed him out. I though maybe if I tell very specific what to draw next time it would help. It would be great if I had pre-printed coloring sheets, but to find one for Bible everyday would be a lot!
We are behind in Science as usual, only on lesson 4, but this last lesson the kids really seemed to like! So hopefully that keeps me inspired to keep it up! My daughter lost her math book this week so she did only drill this week, luckily I just found it stuck between the seat and edge of the van!
