Getting Ready for the New School Year...

Posted in SCHOOLTIME
Well I wanted to start posting about getting back to school! I had planned to do some this summer and we really haven't, it has been slightly more difficult having inlaws living w/us, but they will be leaving and truth be told I needed the break off from schooling. But it has now been slightly too long and I'm ready to get back to business! I'm ordering our curriculum and have started planning what I can w/the things I already have. One thing that has changed is that I thought I would finish SOTW 1 over the summer, didn't happen so I've decided we will take our time and enjoy and planning on finishing by December.  I wanted to post our lesson plan sheets since everyone has been talking planning out there in cyberspace! Mine right now are for 4 days, but they are easily switched to 5 days. This is for two kids! But right now I can't figure how to upload a word file...I will edit when I figure it out =)
Okay stopping back, somebody shared w/me about google documents...  so here is the link for my lesson plans sheet that I use

My planning is going soooo slow!!
It's good to hear lots of others are "on the ball" lol
Perhaps it's because I'm waiting to hear back on whether I'm accepted on the homeschool board...sigh
I'm tagging you! Come to my blog for more info!

I love the start of a new year (even though we go year round). There is something about the crayola's going on sale that makes you long for fall and cooler weather! At least it does for me. We enjoy a little longer than usual of a break during the summer due to invites from friends to do things, but we're all MUCH happier with the routine that our daily lessons bring.

I hope you have a great weekend!
Marsha

PS Would you mind turning your blog's RSS feeder on? That way I can keep track of any new updates through my bloglines. Thanks!
