Oct. 12, 2007 It's been a little while
Well I was trying to post once a week or more, but it's been a little while!
Guess I've not felt like typing about anything spectacular! School is work is mostly going well. My highly distractable son did so well when I read while he did handwriting! He was so proud of how quick and neat he was! And he retained most of the history I was reading! So I thought I'd have them draw/color while I did our Bible story. WRONG.... I told them to draw what I was reading about (Mary & Joseph), he couldn't figure what to draw at all and it stressed him out. I though maybe if I tell very specific what to draw next time it would help. It would be great if I had pre-printed coloring sheets, but to find one for Bible everyday would be a lot!
We are behind in Science as usual, only on lesson 4, but this last lesson the kids really seemed to like! So hopefully that keeps me inspired to keep it up! My daughter lost her math book this week so she did only drill this week, luckily I just found it stuck between the seat and edge of the van!

Sep. 22, 2007 Needing to get on top of my House!
Well after being sick all week...well I still am but I'm feeling a bit better, my house has gone to pieces! Now don't get me wrong I'm not a good housekeeper anyways! But I really want to get better! So I will be busy today and maybe tomorrow trying to get things picked up/put away/cleaned up and under control. And here is a link to 10 things I need to read twice a day until they are ingrained in my head! They are from the Living on a Dime website. Which is another area I need help on. =)

Sep. 21, 2007 We've been SICK!
| So we've done just about No school this week. Mainly because of me. My middle child got sick Sunday, so only my daughter did work on Monday. Then by Monday I was getting sick and the kids and I have been sick since. It's been taking all my energy just to get up and get the dishes done and feed the kids. I'm feeling a little better today after finding some different meds I can take while pregnant and being put on antibiotics. Still sick just a little better. I think the kids are tired of being in the house and are ready to go, even though they are still hacking! I understand as I get the need to get out too, even if it completely wore me out yesterday to go to the store for 30 minutes! HOpe everyone else out there is staying healthy!! It is getting ever so slightly cooler outside here (for Florida that means the 80's and windy =) I hope we get to enjoy it soon! I just don't make a good sick person, I guess I really don't get sick that much so am not that practiced at it. Don't get me wrong I don't want to practice at it anymore! I need to be more thankful that I don't sick very often! Okey-Dokey I better run and use my energy for something more practical than this! |

Sep. 8, 2007 Just in case you were wondering.....
| I'm still pregnant w/ a little boy! Had my 20 week sono on Thursday, and all the male anatomy was showing! I was told it was a boy at 13 weeks, but I felt it was so early I was waiting for the next sono. So now you all know! Glad I've got so MANY boy clothes =)! I'll come back & put my sono pic here in the next couple of days, but I've got to go to bed now! |
