Hey guys! I just wanted to let ya know that I have a new HSB account...it's hopefully gonna be the same as this blog...I just got tired of the name popstargirl94.....so I'll add ya, and please, please add me back lol! I feel so dorky having no mutual friends lol! But yeah! It'd be great if ya'll would add me! I don't wanna lose any of my friends! But that's the only reason I made a new account...cause I just got tired of my username lol!

New Clothes I Got
I got a new template that, hmm, fits me better lol! I really like it! For the most part, it's finished, except for personalizing the sidebar lol! But I'll work on that later!
It's SO hot here!! Too hot to even go outside lol!
I got a few new clothes yesterday...I'll see if I can find pics of them to post....Yep, I found some lol!
These are a pair of black silky-shiny leggings...and FYI, they look like capri-length leggings, but they're ankle-length...lol
I LOVE this black vest!
I got this maroon-ish colored henley...It's super cute!
I also got this skirt, but can only wear it over leggings lol! FYI, it looks shorter than it actually in this pic lol!

I didn't get this, but I wanted it!
So yeah...I got some new clothes lol! I also got a pair of low-tops that are black and have a heart on the side...but I couldn't find a pic lol!

Another Fahsion Post...Once Again
Why do we ((sleep)) in [[church]], But stay ((awake)) through a [[2 hour movie]]?
Why is it so ((hard)) to talk about [[God]], but so ((easy)) to [[Gossip]]?
Why are we so ((bored)) when we look at a [[Christian magazine]], but find it ((easy)) to read [[Cosmo]]? Why is it so easy to ((ignore)) a [[Godly]] post or email, Yet we ((resend)) the [[nasty]] ones?
Why are ((churches)) getting [[smaller]], But ((bars and clubs)) are [[growing]]?
Think about it, are you going to repost this? Or are you going to ignore it, cause you think you'll get laughed at?

You know me, I LOVE to post about fashion and beauty, and I hope you guys enjoy reading about it!
I'll post lots of pics, and try and post tips and such, too....
These can all be found at WalMart, and they are from the clothing line Miley Cyrus and Max Azria....the clothes are funky, yet stylish, with a hint of 'Miley' in them lol!
 
          I really like this clothing line! There's not many clothes in it yet, but it's brand-new, and so they should be adding more items. Most of the products are for under $10, but that might be only for a while cause it's new....I don't think I saw anything for over $20, so it's not bad with the cash lol! Keep in mind that most of these items come in several other colors, but I was too lazy to post them lol! Just kidding! But yeah...most everything comes in other colors, too. So be sure to check out the Miley Cyrus and Max Azria brand and Walmart soon! I'm sure you'll like it!

Fun, Fun, Fun!
Hey all!
I started school today...don't you think it's a little early to be starting? But I think I get out early next year, so that's fine with me lol! I'm a freshmen now, so I have a ton more school! Some of the things I have to do are Physical Science, Algebra 1, Bible...I also have to do current events, which is where I write about an article in the newspaper that has to do with something going on around the world...so yeah! I have a lot more reading to do now, which you know me-I absolutely love reading! I said that sarcastically lol! So that's been keeping me busy!
I had a blast this weekend! On Saturday, we went over to our friends' grandparents house for maybe 5 hours. Lol, I love how I have to have a time haha! Anyway, my dad had to help with some electrical stuff, cause they're getting cows. You're probably wondering how electrical and cows go together haha! It's for a light! So we brought along the four-wheeler to ride with our friends! That thing was going for about 4 hours(again with the time!)...it's about out of gas now lol! We rode that thing all over the place! I think the fastest I went was like 17 m.p.h., which sounds like it's wimpy compared to a car's speed, but on a four-wheeler it's not! My friend Alyssa is so funny on the four-wheeler! She's really wild around me, which I guess means that we know each other well, lol! So I'm driving with her on the back, and she's singing me songs, and waving her hands all over! It's just so fun to watch lol! I also had fun watching her go down a hill on like a Little Tikes wagon lol! Hilarious!
That night, they came over for dinner and rootbeer floats...but Alyssa couldn't come...but we ate, rode the four-wheeler even more, tried sledding down a big hill with no snow...when it was dark out, we went star tripping! I didn't try it, but it looks crazy! You wanna know how you do it? Well, after it's really dark out, you look up and find a star. While staring at the star the whole time, spin around ten times, and then look forward and have someone shine a flashlight right away right into your eyes. Try taking 3 steps forward! I know, I know, it sounds so easy, but watch what happens when you try lol! It's practically impossible to stay standing up! You always fall to the ground! So you all need to try it haha!

Template Making Is Hard!!
Do you guys like my new template? I wanted something simple, and I've noticed that a lot of bloggers have been making plain white templates with a cool header or something...I tried that, but I guess it just wasn't 'me'. So I made it simpler, than my last template I mean, and added a cool header...I like it a lot! But getting the template to work, now that's hard haha! I had it all done, except the HSB template I chose to start out with, didn't show blogger's avatars when they comment, and I really like having the avatars shown, so I switched the template to a differernt one just to get the html for the avatar thingy, and it was on a new tab, so I could just copy it and paste it...well, I finally got it pasted, but I hit save on the wrong tab, so it saved the other template that I had to copy the html code for! So then I had to start all over, but after I got it back to what it looked like before, I couldn't get the avatar thingy back! I finally got it lol! I was like 'Ugggggghhhhh!' I'm still working on the sidebar, and I only put a few awards up there, cause I can't remember which ones I got, but I know I got the ones I put up, so...yeah! That's all I have for you! Let me know if something doesn't work right on my blog, and I'll try and fix it....

Tips.......
Okay so I think once or twice a month I'm gonna post a long entry about fashion, makeup, beauty, etc....just for the fun of it, since I LOVE fashion!!
Fashion:
Trends(these items look like they're gonna be seen all over this fall)
-Full-length: I've noticed that full-length dresses and skirts are coming back...not sure if I'll be wearing one, but they are all over stores..
-Skinny jeans: Skinny jeans look especially cute when tucked into boots, or worn with ballet flats, or just with plain old flip-flops!
-Scarves: With so many ways to wear them, scarves are a must-have this fall!
-Colored Denim: I've seen bright, colorful, neon etc. denim all over, and if you wear it right, it looks super cute!
-Plaid: I've seen plaid all over again this year, and with so many cute styles, plaid is the way to go!
Fashion Tips
1. To make a plain old tee look totally different, pair it up with a vest, and either wear it buttoned for a more dressy look, or unbuttoned for a totally cool look! Pair it up with your favorite pair of jeans(I would recommend skinny jeans) and ballet flats, and you're good to go!
2. I personally don't like tube-tops, and I don't think they're very modest, but for a cool, modest look, wear a tube-top over a plain tee or tank top...add shorts and flip-flops, and you're ready to hit the beach!
3. A cute tee is, of course, cute! But to give it a totally new look, when you get tired of it's old look, learn to accessorize! Add a belt, necklace, vest, scarf...anything! It gives it a whole new look that you can change whenever you feel like it!
Where to find cute and stylish, yet modest clothing(besides a thrift shop):
DEB-This store carries junior and junior plus clothing...along with sunglasses, jewelry, etc...but don't go in there thinking that all the stuff is modest...a lot of it is, and they have GREAT sales!
Old Navy-Most of the stuff at Old Navy is modest, and they also have great sales!
Vanity-Vanity has a lot of cute junior clothes, with a lot of great sales! I really like this store!
Wal-Mart- They carry 2 great brands that have tons and tons of cute clothes-New Boundaries and OP...for fairly cheap, too!
Make-up:
Tips:
Smokey-eye Look:
1. Wash/dry face really well.
2. Rub in a small amount of lotion to soften up skin.
3. Line top and bottom of eye with either black eyeliner or black eyeshadow.
4. Cover top and bottom eye-lids with a dark gray shadow, stopping right above crease.
5. Take a light pink shadow, and lightly cover the outside corner of your eye, right below your brow bone.
6. Sweep a light color shadow lightly over your tear duct...this makes your eye look bigger
7. If you're allowed, swipe a coat or two of black mascara on your top and bottom lashes.
8. Add a little gloss or Vaseline, and you're good to go!
Barely There Look:
1. Wash/dry face really well.

So there you go! Don't get all mad at me if one of these styles doesn't stay in for long, or if it actually isn't in! I've just been seeing these items in ads, magazines, and in stores, so it looks like they're gonna be...but if no one buys them, then they won't...so, yeah haha!
I also want to say that no matter what you wear, you're beautiful...I just posted these tips and things, because doesn't every girl like to read fashion/makeup tips and get dressy every once and awhile??

My crazy fun weekend!
One of my best friends ever, Alyssa, spent the night on Friday....oh my goodness, where should I start lol!
We drove to her house in the afternoon to go pick her up, and then went to the mall for maybe 2 hours...Did I get anything?? Of course I did! I don't think you can go to the mall and not get anything...and still be happy about it haha! I got 2 pairs of jeans, because most of the jeans I have are to baggy in the back lol! So I found 2 that fit great, and they were only like $13 total...there were like tons and tons of racks of jeans for $12, and if you buy a pair, you get a pair for $1...most of the time, you think you do really well when you get one pair for $20....so anyways, we also went to Old Navy, but didn't find anything...well actually I should say didn't get anything...Alyssa is so funny shopping, cause she won't get anything, but she loves to try stuff on, and so she's trying on all the sunglasses haha! I actually got 2 pairs of sunglasses...one of them had zebra stripes, and the other pair is bright green...What else did I get??? Oh yeah, I also got some makeup, and Bath and Body Works had special mini-bottles of their new fragrance P.S. I Love You...it comes out in September, so my mom bought us each a bottle...smells great!!
After shopping, we came home for just a little bit, and then went out for dinner...my brother Matt, Alyssa, and I were cracking up because we all ordered lemonade, and we all ordered the same enchillada....it's probably not that funny to you, but to us it was!
Then we came home, and just kinda hung out...we watched the movie Saving Sarah Cain...great movie! We also rode the four wheeler a ton! She's so funny when she drives haha! We also went on a 3-mile walk, and it started to rain on us haha!
So yeah...that's what I did this weekend...how about you???
