Family Visit

My parents came down to visit us last weekend.  We were trying so hard to find a rental before they arrived so that we could enjoy a relaxing weekend  together.  It was not to be.  So we shared a very close weekend in our trailer,  thankful for the pull-out in the "living room."

It was great to have them near for a few days.  The last few months have been very draining and to have close friends to bounce ideas off of was helpful.  We went to the property in Mexico and my mom had fun trying to identify the different shrubs.  We then visited my friend whose husband has just left her for another woman, fairly common down there.

"My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus blood and righteousness"

You are *so* missed here, you know. I have a book for you to review should you choose to do it. The Little House Vocabulary Companion is here for YOU. :+) Let me know if you want it.

I am glad you were able to have a family visit--even if it was rather close. :+)

I sure wish you and I could go for coffee--sometime soon.

Warmly,
Kate

I'm sorry you're struggling with the situations that you are going through but in a way, I understand. Oh, it would take to long to explain the "why's and how's" and really, one situation cannot be compared to another but I do know what it's like to leave home (for me, NH) and move to a "foreign" land (1600 miles away to Fl and Bible college, being 8 wks pg with #1) and just being overwhelmed. When dh resigned his first church, we were left literallly homeless. We stayed in various prophets chambers across the country and then the 5 of us stayed in a camper trailer at a church in NC for 3 months.

I have learned through it all that God always has a purpose and he refines us each and every time we go through something that we think is just too difficult. You know, if we could get through everything on our own, we wouldn't need the Lord AND we wouldn't be able to minister effectively.

I will be praying for you and your family. God's grace WILL be sufficient because He promises us that it will be :-)
