I was really hoping to get back to business today.  Its just not meant to be I guess. I have come down with a bad cold and so has Bessie (dd nickname).

She's got up and ate a little and has gone right back to sleep.  Best thing for her I suppose.

I'm just going have a lazy day as I don't really feel like doing much of anything anyway.

DH got an email in regards to a resume he sent out weeks ago.  They company put the position on hold until the holidays were over and hope to start scheduling interviews within the next week or two.  This would be a great job for him and more money for us.

Now I think it's really a small world! Of all the suburbs in Adelaide, I didn't think you'd say Mt. Barker. That's where I live! It's in the Adelaide Hills, about 15 or 20 km outside of the city. It's more like a large country town but small enough for us to have probably rubbed shoulders in one of the supermarkets. If you think she wouldn't mind, you could maybe mention me and ask if she'd like to catch up with another homeschooling mum to say hi.
I hope you're over your colds soon. We've just finished a summer heatwave over here, sitting by the fans with iceblocks, trying to keep cool.
