Dh has a lead on a job here in town!   The profile for it reads like a perfect fit and he emailed his resume over this morning.  The company has already called here for him!  Of course he'll have to call them back when he gets home so I will have more details then.  But the job description and his resume are almost identical..

We have not gained much ground school wise this week.  Oldest DD is now sick with what I had last week...My youngest is so off schedule now since the holidays sleep wise I'm not sure that we'll recover (LOL).

I did quit my part time job.  It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I already have a cake order for this weekend to do from home... I'm thankful for that.

Its a horse cake.  I will post the pictures when I get it finished.

I am really struggling to get back on schedule around here...any one got any good suggestions?

I agree that home is the very best place to be. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to be a stay-at-home-wife either. There is always so much you can find to do and it sounds as if you'll always find something interesting, with cake orders coming in.
I hope the job situation turns out well.

Great news for your DH! I pray the job works out for your family! Oh, and congrats on you job situation. I had a great *career* as a systems consultant (yep, making consultant fees salary---hmmm, I do kinda miss that!), but I'm so glad I quit to come home. I just decided to not pay attention to the naysayers I left behind at work! Please post photos of the horse cake! LOL My DD will love to see it!
Well, I have to go wake up my DS...his sleep pattern is off, too...I think it might be hormones and his growth spurt. He has grown 4 inches in the last 2 months and is now in a size 15 shoe!! I'd be tired if I was growing that much, but still school is off schedule for him.
