My oldest dd is due to take the PSAT this fall (06/07) school year.  I was so worried I would have many road blocks with the local schools as far as her coming in to test there.   Well that was a whole lot of wasted worry because I spoke with the Assitant Principle at the local high school this morning and she was so nice.

She said just to give her a call back in September and she would get everything set up for my dd to take the test! 

What a relief!

DH and I attempted, emphasis on attempted, to make and deocrate the scooby doo cake. I am giving you a standing ovation right now for your scooby doo decorating job. Ours was PITIFUL...but DD thought it was the cat's meow. DH and I agreed, one day,when we're "retired" we're taking cake decorating classes!!

I know what you mean about testing. Austen(10) will be taking his FIRST real test like this June 5,6,7. We will be doing the IOWA standard test. I am praying he will do well. I remember I always got so nervous when I had to take tests like this.
