Yo peoples. Well if I never told you my Eagle Scout project has been completed. Right now I'm just waiting to finish 2 merit badges and I'll be done (with the exception of some paperwork). For my project we (my troop, family and friends) built 3 elevated gardens for a local nursing home. And here are some pics of 2 of those gardens.
This is bed #1 before any work was done to it.

Here is bed #2 bed while some scouts were working on it.

Above: Bed #2 in it's completion.
Sorry that everything is a little out of order. Getting the pics on here was a confusing process. Thanks for your patience mom ;)
These gardens took about 4 days spread over a couple weeks to complete. These gardens will give the residents of the nursing home an opprotunity to garden. And the fact that they are elevated beds will make gardening a lot easier for residents in wheelchairs or with back problems. It also look perdy cool. lol. So there you have it ;)

So..... what's up with ya'll? Anything new or exciting? Ya know.... I would prolly get answers to these questions if I stopped by your blogs. Sorry..... I'm a bit of a space cadet today. Go figure. Well, the last cool thing that happened around here was Friday morning. Me and my mom were going to this H-school conference/fair and were running later than we wanted to. But God Rules. We needed to be late that day. A couple weeks ago my parents had received an e-mail saying that the home of the boys that we are adopting was being closed which means that they would be out on the streets. Well that morning my mom got another e-mail saying that there was a school opening that the boys could stay at and that day was the last day to register them. It would have been too late when we had gotten home. If we had been on time my mom would have missed that e-mail. The deadline for the registration was changed to tomorrow, so according to what I've understood my bros will be staying there. Soooo..... that was pretty flippin' cool.
Then came the H-school conference itself. That was cool as well. I had prolly walked about 5 feet into the building before I ran into David (theimmortals) Derek (who is a totall bully.lol. jk.) and some friends of theirs. Then we did our best to hide from their sister Danya (songwriter). That didn't work very well. lol. So while my mom was shopping I hung out with them and some friends of theirs. Twas cool.
Thats really about it. Oh yeah! I am almost an Eagle Scout. My project was completed yesterday (monday) so now I just have to finish 2 merit badges. So thats cool. Soooooo............ later peoples

Elloo! How goes it? It moves on with me. Just holding on to God as we walk through life one step at a time. Sometimes I wish I could see my next step. But that would kinda make life boring wouldn't it? Anyhoo...........
If anyone has noticed I have some new songs on my playlist. I was just planning on just fixing the ones that didn't work, but decided to add some new ones too. Let me know if you see any that don't work. Gracias ;)
Nothing to report on the adoption. My mom talked to Micheal and Moses on the 4th, but nothing has really been done on the adoption itself. As far as we're heard anyway. Your continued prayers would be very much appreciated. Thanx ;)
My dad could also use some prayer as well. He's just really tired and worn out from having to work 2 jobs. We're praying that God can provide just one full-time job. But of course we are grateful that he's working now. A co-worker of his called him the day after he was fired and offered him a job. But you prayers in this area would be appreciated too ;))
*EDIT*
Alright, here's a flippin' hilarious tag type thing from Mandies (Gratitude) blog.
Things to do at Wal-Mart while your spouse/friend is taking their sweet time:
1. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
2. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone, 'Code 3' in housewares ..... and see what happens.
3. Go the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.
4. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
5. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.
6. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'
7. Look right into the security camera; use it as a mirror, and pick your nose.
8. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti-depressants are.
9. Dart around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.
10. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels.
11. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say, "PICK ME!"
12. When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!!"
( And; last, but not least!)
13. Go into a fitting room and shut the door and wait a while; and, then, yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"
14: Ask one of the workers at Wal-Mart if they have Diet Water... Then if they ask you what kind of water it is tell them it's like sparkeling fruit water...

Hey, look! Pix! What? Did I just post a couple pictures?! lol. Just trying it out. My mom showed me how to put pics on here. And I accidentally deleted my avi trying to put a new one in. Hopefully I'll get that running again soon. Anyhoo...... These 2 pics are of me and my bro at the airshow back in like February or March. So there you have it.

Ok.... so I've been back from camp for a while now. It was awsome. Cool stuff. Can't talk a whole lot. It's late and I need a shower. But camp was great. I have 3 new merit badges now. Oh yeah...... and I'm in a "Band" now. Weird story. Anyway......
Oh yeah! My Eagle Scout Leadership project is this Saturday! I'm a little nervous. Your prayers would be appreciated. When I have more time to post I'll go into more detail about it. But I have to go for now. So lata.....
*EDIT*
ok.... now I have a little time. Ok.... summercamp. Let's see.... I took woodcarving which was a snore. I just made this little wooden neckercheif slide. That was pretty much it. I cut myself twice. The funny thing is that It wasn't a knife that I cut myself with. lol. Then I had personal fitness. That was the exact opposite. We did measurements and disscussion for 2 days and a bunch of running the rest. lol. With some puch-ups and sit-ups mixed in. Then came leatherwork class. The leatherwork teacher really hated me for some reason. I don't know.... but all we had to do was identify a few different kinda of leather and make a pockeknife holder. Then Swimming. That was a lot of fun. But difficult at times. Once, we had to do a couple of surface dives to retrieve these rings at the bottom of the pool. That was kinda hard. And the next day we learned how to turn your clothes into floatation devices. I was worried to death about that. But God had it worked out. I was likw the last one to do it. And I was only in for like 2 minutes before the lifeguards pulled everyone out because lightening had been reported close by. Apparently water and electriciy don't mix well together. lol. That was about it. There were various experiences inbetween and after classes, but that was the bulf of it. Oh yeah... I took some pics, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get them on here. I took them with a disposable camera. Oh well. I gotta go now. SO later.
*Oh yeah David, try and top this post. lol.*
