LOOKING TO THE EAST

As I sit by this beautiful sea

waiting for His coming I soon shall see

the birds are flying as they are so free

as I look around everything is at peace

soon I'll be with Jesus in heaven so sweet

No more heart ache or trouble we'll see

with yesterday's all gone eternity we'll be

forever with Jesus and our loved one too

no more waiting by this deep blue sea

THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

EPHESIANS 6:10-18

God has laid out clear guidelines to help us successfully face conflict with the Devil. The Bible says we must: Be alert (1Peter 5:8) Never give Satan an opportunity (Ephesians 4:26-27) Submit to God and resist the Devil (James 4:7). We cannot rely on our own power but instead must depend upon God's presence and might. We must also wear appropriate "battle gear" in order to stand firm while waiting for God to intervene: BELT OF TRUTH (v14) We are to conduct ourselves out of the truth of Scripture, knowing that our sins have been forgiven as a result of our relationship to Jesus Christ, and that the indwelling Holy Spirit enables us to be victorious. BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. (V14) Emotions can be debilitating. This piece of equipment protects the heart so that we can respond to our circumstance on the basis of scriptural truth. FOOTGEAR OF THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE. (V15) We are to stand upon the foundation of the Gospel, which assures us that, through our relationship with Christ, we have peace with God. His peace will flood our mind, will, and emotions so that we are ready to stand firm against attacks, and we are also ready to to move forward to proclaim the Good News. SHIELD OF FAITH. (v16) Faith- our defense- is likened to an enormous shield sufficient to cover a soldier completely and deflect satan's flaming arrows of unbelief, fear, jealousy, and greed. HELMENT OF SALVATION. (V17) The devil's battlefield is the mind, so this piece of gear is critical for protecting our thoughts. SWORD OF THE SPIRIT--THE WORD OF GOD (v17) Jesus responded to each satanic temptation with "it is written," and the Word of God should likewise be our offensive weapon. Scripture pierces the human heart, soul and spirit to bring about conviction and miraculous transformation.

Never start your day without spiritual armor. But remember, even with all your battle equipment in place, without prayer, you remain vulnerable. (v18) And be encouraged because we know that Christ is the victor, and satan's future demise is sure. (Revelation 20:10, Matthew 25:41).

Hello, Everyone: Just a little about me. I am a Christian and have been working in the vineyard of our Lord for a long time, and enjoying it more every day. My husband and I minister in song. Spreading the good news where ever the Holy Spirit leads.

As you are surfing the web, stop by and see us, I'm sure you will enjoy your visit. I pray you will feel the presence of God as you enter, and be blessed by the Master Strong Hand.

My reason for this site is to encourage others as they walk on through this life while on their journey home.

Lift up thy head and take new courage, when ever you are going through troubles and trials and don't look at the circumstance but look to Jesus for all your help. When life doesn't make sense and bad things happen to godly people, you can remain strong because of the perfect comfort and tranquility that comes only from almighty God.

Pain and difficulty are unavoidable in this world, but you can enjoy peace because Jesus is your rock during life's most challenging times.

Power From on High, is the source of our strength when you and all your resources have been exausted, you can still go beyond your limits because of God's supernatural power. Life's circumstance are always changing, bringing new tests and opportunities for growth. You can face tomorrow with confidence and joy when the Lord is the source of your strength.

So finish your journey with joy knowing that your Heavenly Father has you in the palm of His Hand. We can Triumph, because we have victory in Jesus.
