Idol Top 8

I missed the first half of the show, but here are my thoughts on the second half.

Kristy with yet another sparkly tank top. Pretty good song.

David Archuleta should do well with inspirational week.

Paula’s dress is quite pretty, but I’m not sure how she can breath. No wonder nothing she says makes sense: she’s oxygen deprived.

My dad, sound guy, is hollering about all the feedback.

Why is some guy sitting on Simon’s lap? Ew! I don’t care if he hired them, that is so wrong!

Oh good, David Cook. Jacket reminds me of the movie of Much Ado About Nothing, except I don’t like the pockets. I don’t like the falsetto “I’s” It wasn’t great. I agree with Simon. Paula, naturally, doesn’t.

 Paula: You’re so well defined, blah, blah, blah. She made it sound like she was agreeing with Randy, but said something completely opposite.

I think Carly stuck thumb tacks in the collar of the shirt she’s wearing during her interview. More dark colors, and a hideous, slightly pirate-esque outfit. High waisted, but not enough to be sure if it was on purpose. That is one sparkly belt. (My mom says fake wonder woman about the whole outfit.) Her bouncy-walking around the stage is very weird to me. A fairly good dramatic performance. I’m not a big Carly fan. I kind of like the earrings. Is that Orlando bloom in her family and friends?

I like Paula’s earrings. She can’t seem to bring herself to agree with anything negative. That comment on Carly close to criticism though.

Simon complimenting the outfit, interesting. I agree with the slightly angry. She always seems to be lowering her eyebrows when she sings.

David Archuleta had  hard time picking an inspirational song? Must be because he’s already used all of them. Oh, he’s multitalented. Our first display of piano-playing skill from David.This is so boring. Unfortunately the judges like him tonight.

Brooke wins best dressed tonight, of what I saw. I like the eye shadow. The performance wasn’t her best, but it was pretty good. It always helps when I’m familiar with the song. I’m pretty sure it was on one of my old Hallelujah Hop cassettes.
