It's Friday, December 8th --- tonight is my husband's holiday party for the year.  While I don't especially enjoy these events - I'm looking forward to tonights --- it's a time for Mark and I to have together time - enjoying each other, a nice meal, his colleagues, holiday conversation - and did I mention - the kids are going to spend the night with his parents! - How fun! --- This doesn't happen often. 

I'm excited about getting dressed up - and not just wearing jeans and a sweatshirt - LOL - (my almost everyday attire) --- Can't wait! If it's eventful - I'll try and write more tomorrow. 

I'm thankful for this time to enjoy one another - and the blessing that our marriage is - Praise the Lord!
