Well I just started homeschooling in January 2007. In the beginning it was more stressful then I thought, and I never could see me sticking it out. Well it's now September and it is going really well. Faith and I are both very happy. We are very happy to be together and NOW I can see doing this longer then I first had planned.
Faith is 5 and in grade one. We started our journey in a private school that used ACE, me thinking that it was just unfair to homeschool an only child. Boy I was WRONG. We took her out, in order to keep her speech therapy going. She loves sports. She does Jitsu, swimming, skating(for fun), not to mention the other great homeschooling activities we do.
I am happy that I am back to my full swing of things. I attend Healing School on Tuesday, Bible School on Thursdays. Plus one for my friends from school. We pick up an extra class from our Bible School together. I am right now taking a Palliative care course that is 30 hours in a month, and then hope to get some volunteer hours in the local hospital here.
Daddy is a medic in the Army. We are very proud of him. We are also very bless to have him home. He is an instructor at the base hospital. Teaching the field end of the medical world.
Faith is and will be our only child unless God has other plans?? I am hoping to keep this blog up to help other disable parents out here that are homeschooling or thinking of it. Maybe finding some others like me for some support too?

Isn't it amazing, how God opens the door to homeschooling and shows us that we are doing just what He has planned?
You have a beautiful family! I look forward to getting to know you.
Blessings, Beckie :o)
