I'm going to prom!
I feel that it is necessary to post today, but I haven't the slightest idea what to write about. For Rachel I will write a bit on the Declaration of Independence. Rachel, this is gonna knock your cloned tiara off!
"The Declaration of Independence was a radical note written in a radical tone. It was an outcry against the oppression of the English, protesting unfair laws like the old anti-acre act. Today we see the Declaration of Independence everywhere; we see it in history, politics, movies and even nailed to car." (okay, that one was lame.) If the signers of the Declaration of Independence had used their HSB usernames, one might have signed "Creation Lad."
Anyway, I just realized I only have about four more weeks of school before Summer! Until then I probably won't have anything interesting to post about unless you people ask me questions.
Uncle Lowell, I found journal of Grandma Audrey's - the 1964 edition. It looks like you got a watch from your dad (or maybe her dad?) and $1 from Mrs. Riera for your 9th birthday.
This is a pathetic post. Sorry.
~Jessica~

I hope Rachel understands your post...
Questions:
What prom are you going to?
Who are you going to prom with?
I don't have to buy an expensive dress do I?
Are you getting your date a boutonniθre?
What are your plans for summer?
Are you still going to paint the living room between sailing and prom?
Have you lost weight?
What else did you find in Grandma Audrey's diary?
Did you know she wrote a book of poetry?
Don't forget you are serving dinner tonight while I go to a wedding planning meeting at 5.
Love ya

All these anagrams make me think there's nothing about Scrabble you have to remind me about.

Okay, so I scanned your whole post looking for the key word "prom" and didn't find it.
And I didn't want to go back and read a post even you deemed "lame".
So I decided to just leave you a comment.
"A COMMENT"
I'll say "Hi" to Joel too.
"Hola Joel!"
If you ever want M.R to leave you a good comment you should let Rachel on your blog every now and then.
Of course, she does appear in posts often enough . . .
I really want to watch Extreme Days. Powdered donuts all the way. And Snake.
I ate Ice Cream last night . . . oops.
I saw Phillipe Grande on Monday! At the caf.
I miss you, friend.
Adios,
~Kat
P.S. I might have seen him on Sunday . . .

I was trying to figure out what cloned tiaras and Creation Lads had to do with the Declaration of Independence, and after a few minutes it clicked. Nice...
Have fun on your Summer break in four weeks!!
Side note: I found out last night that I passed my oral interview with Oakland Fire! Woohoo!! I have a physical agility test next Friday...
Question: Would any of your family be up for a visit from Matthew and I next Monday? We have to drop the RV off in Los Banos at a mechanic so he can get it ready for our trip, and afterwards we are going to take our bikes north along the Delta Mendota canal until we hit Patterson. We wanted to head all the way to Modesto where mom is going to be, but she didn't want us to add another 17 miles of "near death by car" between P Town and Mo Town.
Would Mother Dunfee mind two more people in the house until Mother Hector could pick us up?
I have failed at thinking of a witty last sentence.
Hasta la bye bye.

Mother Dunfee...
Thanks a million for your willingness to host my brother and I for a short time. We much appreciate it!
Just for clarification... the whole biking extravaganza is going to take place on Monday the 14th not the 7th. The way I stated it in my first comment was a little confusing so I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page regarding days...
Thanks again!!
