I like coincidences. Like Coffee on shuffle. I don’t think they are important or mystical or anything, I just like them.

It’s raining today and I wonder if I should go plant my poppy seeds. I want to, but Kirsten said it’s not wet enough. She’s right; I know they wouldn’t have a chance. I’ll have to wait until fall. Joshua (7) has taken up gardening. He is out in the garden pretty much every day, weeding and watering and planting. It’s fun to see him get excited about something. I wonder what he’s going to be when he grows up.

Growing up is weird. I haven’t talked with Becca about growing up in a long time. I haven’t talked to Becca at all lately. I miss her. And I want to hang out with Kathryn today. I’ve been having fun being friends with my sisters. Sisters are the best, especially nosy obnoxious ones.

I hope Rachel doesn’t mind too much if this is a very short post. I wish I had a funny story or something to tell. Sometimes funny things happen to me and I think, ‘I’ll put that in a blog’ and then I forget.

Well, I liked your post in spite of the lack of funny stories. :-P
My favorite number right now is 18, but I also like 22. Of course, 1,234 is cool too...
I like even numbers. But Odd ones have a good feeling to them too!

It does me a lot of good to have a favorite number! I can look forwards all my life to being 1,234! (Just kidding)

Rain? I can't believe it rained while we were gone - it didn't rain where we were (Roaring Camp) for our civil war weekend (see Mrs. Reynolds cool blog movie link)! Poppy seeds need rain to be planted? how would they know the difference between rain and water from a hose?

Thanks for remembering my birthday - I had a great day! (At least now when Nate keeps asking me how old I am I can give him a different answer for another year...)

Growing up, I think, is fun - plus who said you have to stop watching cartoons and eating Fruit Loops!

My favorite number is 5 - why? not sure, it probably had something to do with when I was younger and just always stuck.
