Sixteen Candles...and other random thoughtsWell our first born turned 16 yesterday. It is hard to believe that much time has passed since her birth. We surprised her with a surprise party where all of her aunties and uncles, cousins, grandparents and a few close friends came. She was surprised and happy. I made her a special book that had messages and memories from everyone in it, as well as a few pictures. It was very special. She felt loved.
We are getting ready to start school. We are doing a Virtual Highschool for our highschoolers this year which I am really excited about. I can't believe we have 2 in HS this year. It will be a busy year I am sure.
My pregnancy is moving along quite nicely. The baby is BIG and healthy. This one is a very quiet baby and doesn't move as forcefully. It amazes me that you can tell the personality of someone before they are born. We have chosen names for the baby. We know what the sex is but are not telling anyone. He he he!! I guess ya'll have to wait until the big day. I am hoping for another homebirth if things go well. I want to give birth in the bathtub...R is not quite so sure yet...I have time to convince him. :)
E is getting so big. He is so smart. He is such a pleasure. He has started trying to speak, he can say "ba boo" I love you. Also "da choo" Got you. Mama, Dadee, "tat" cat. He signs all done and eat. Both of those have been helpful in knowing what he wants. He still loves the drums and tries to sneak into the music room all the time.
We had a lovely mini vacation. We spent lots of time boating, swimming, tubing, hiking etc. We really needed a getaway. Although we came back sick. Ugh! It was great. J has been working all summer and really needed a time to just relax and rest.
Dave and Cindy and Asher ( brother in law and sister in law and nephew) visited for the last 2 weeks. It was so great to see them. I so wish they lived closer. We get along so well and I just LOVE little Asher. So much changes in little guys in a year which is about how often we see them. He is so much fun. And of course visiting with D and C is so wonderful. I am so glad I married into a big family. It makes up now for not having any siblings, we have a pretty good relationship with all of them which such a blessing.
Anyway I guess that is all. We keep pluggin away. R and I are doing great. What a blessing to have such a great friend as my life's partner. I can't imagine life without him. God is GOOD! Blessings~~~ J Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 24 of 82 } { Next Page } |
