 Dear journal,

    My name is Arwen, I am the daughter of Elrond of Rivendell. Today I rode out and found "a ranger". He was taking some hobbits to Rivendell, Frodo was wounded by a blade of the Nazgul. I took him on my house, I would be faster, and I rode out to Rivendell again, but I was follwed by the Nazgul. I rode as fastas I could, and my cheek was cut by a sharp tree branch. I rode into the river, and stood, waiting for them. Their horses stopped, one wraith said, "Give up the halfling," I pulled out my sword and replied, "If you want him, come and claim him!" I made the river turn into running horses and ran over the wraiths. That got me able to go ahead, Frodo was worse, he was deathly wounded. But, I did get him to Rivendell in time.

Dear Journal,

Hurray! You won't believe what has happened since I last wrote. I'll start from the biggining though. Okay, so as you know I was walking around the camp waiting in suspence. I couldn't wait to hear what happened. Then....after a while...I see them coming over the hill! I was shocked. Edmund was hurt! I ran to Edmund and put a drop of cordial in his mouth. I learned that we had won! I was so happy! Then Aslan said "Lucy, should also more sacrifice for Edmund?" So I ran down the hill all over the battle field putting drops of cordial on all of the creature's wounds. So then I ran back to camp and asked Peter to tell me the story of the battle. So we sat in a tent and he told me about how the white witch was winning but then Edmund was smart and broke the stone knife and she hurt Edmund and how Aslan came with all the creatures from the White Witch's castle!! And how Aslan defeated the White Witch.  I listened and after he told me I ran outside and celebrated with everybody over the glorious victory! Then they dressed us very nicely and we, the four sons of Adam and daughters of Eve, got crowned and sat in the four thrones in Cair Paravel!!! Peter was King Peter the Magnificent! Edmund was King Edmund the Just! Susan was Queen Susan the Gentle! I was Queen Lucy the Valiant! It was so exciting! But then I noticed that I didn't see Aslan anywhere! I ran out onto the balcony and I saw him walking along the water. I was so sad! I didn't know if he would ever come back!!!
But then Mr. Tumnus walked out onto the balcony with me and said that Aslan came and went whenever you would least expect. I felt better than because I knew he was coming back! Mr. Tumnus and I went back inside and celebrated with everybody else. The food was the most delicous food I have ever tasted in my whole life! After a while everybody gradualy left. We were exaughsted. Susan, Peter Edmund and I went to our rooms and that is where I am now. But I am really tierd so I am going to go to sleep now!

 My old Gaffer thought it might be nice for me to keep a journal, when I might want to look back on the things I've done before. Mr. Bilbo's 111th birthday is coming, and he's invited me to come! He came to me when I was in his garden, and asked me personally, and him being my hero, I said yes. Mr. Frodo says that Mr. Bilbo has been acting strange. Mr. Frodo is also saying that Gandalf will be coming to the Shire.

Dear, being king of the horses is a dreadfully tiring business! The colts these days are getting some dreadfully farfetched ideas; I believe they are hanging out with the feral horses far too much. Thinking they should try and overthrown Man! Good grief, what'll they think up next, eating meat?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the young horses need to befriend horses of such quality as the horses of Rohan, not those scrawny, ill-tempered runaways. I keep telling them that it will get them nowhere but trouble and they just won't listen!

*crash* *angry whinny* *loud hoofbeats* *another crash* Oh dear!! Now they're off trying to break into a house! Gotta gallop, hope to see you all again in the near future! If anyone has any suggestions as to stopping crazy young horses from attempting to overthrow Man, please let me know as soon as you can.

Dear Journal,

Lots of stuff has been happening! Last night I was laying in bed thinking about Mum and Dad. I could not go to sleep. As I was laying there I saw Aslan pass by our tent. I was curious where he was going so I started to get up and follow him but I accedently woke Susan up. Susan came with me and we started following him. It was creepy in the woods. I felt somthing perfectly awful was going to happen! We folled him for about five minutes and then he said "Susan, Lucy, why are you following me." I was startled because I didn't know he knew we were following him. But I guess Aslan knows quite a lot. I told him I had seen him pass by and wanted to know where he was going. He let Susan and I walk beside him. He let us burry our faces and hands in his gold silky fur! It was wonderful...but at the same time I was a little worried. Aslan didn't look very happy. After a few minutes he made us stop and not follow him any more. He walked on. Susan and I found a bush where we could see where he was going. My heart dropped when I saw all the wreched and fowl beasts and creatures sitting up there screaming at Aslan! Aslan walked up to them. Susan and I started crying. The White Witch was up there standing on the Stone Table! Oh, it was horrable! First they cut of his hair and then beat him. Then... They bound him and brought him up on the Stone Table. The White Witch had a knife! I turned away cause I could not bare to watch any longer. They all cheered....it was perfectly dreadful. Susan and I crouched as all the wreched creatures and White Witch went away. Susan and I ran up to Aslan and hugged him and cried. I was about to try my Cordial on him but Susan said it wouldn't work. Suddenly mice ran up and Susan started shooing them away. I told her to stop! They were chewing off the cords that bound Aslan! Finally Susan said we should be getting back to the camp because the rest would be waking up. So we started walking home. Suddenly we heard a huge crack that made us stop. We turned and Aslan was no where to be found! I though they had came back and taken him! But suddenly Aslan walked up! Oh! I had the thrill of my life! It was wonderful! Aslan! Aslan! He was alive! He told us to hurry and get on him. The war had already started. It was wonderful to ride apon Aslan's back! He could run so fast! He ran all the way to the White Witch's castle. It was dreadful to see all the stone creatures. I found Tumnus there...he was stone. I started crying and Susan comforted me. Aslan walked up and breathed on Tumnus. Suddenly Tummus started to turn to normal color! It was wonderful! He was coming back to life! Aslan started breathed on all the animals, creatures, fawns, giants and every creature he could find. Susan and I ran all through the castle opening the windows and doors finding all of the hidden stone creatures. After every creature was turned back to life Aslan brought them all to the battle field! He dropped me off at the camp first though. I wish I could go....although...well, I would be a little scared. I just wandered around the camp and then went into my tent  and started writing in you. And here I am now. I suppose I will just wander some more around the camp now. Oh, I hope Susan, Peter, and Edmund are all ok! I hope all the Narnians are ok! Well, I am just going to have to see what happens.

Dear Journal,

I am quite sorry I have not written in so long.

Well, after we we were done resting in the hiding place, Mr. Beaver heard a noise. He went out to see what it was, and then told us to follow him. We got out of the hiding place to find Father Christmas! It was so exciting, the Beavers said that because Father Christmas had come, it meant that the Witch's spell was beginning to break.

He gave each of us presents. I recieved a cordial of magic medicine that would heal any injury and a dagger. I am rather afraid of the dagger he gave me, but I'm trying to be brave. He gave Susan a bow and arrow and a magic horn, that whenever she blew, help would come. He have Peter a sword and shield. For Mrs. Beaver, he gave her a new sewing machine, which was back at the dam, and Mr. Beaver's dam was completely fixed.

Off we went, and we arrived at Aslan's camp. When I saw Him, I was amazed, He was such a great lion, THE Great Lion. I couldn't help but stare. We were welcomed very warmly, and they treated us like royalty.

Well, one day, Susan and I were playing at the river, when two wolves jumped out at us! I was so scared, and Susan yelled to climb the tree that was near us. I climbed it very quickly, and got to the top of it, but Susan was dangling near the bottom of the tree. I think she was going to faint.

Brave Peter came to help us. He killed the wolf(even though I think he was fightened to). Then, Aslan knighted him "Sir Peter Wolf's Bane". I was so proud of him.

Now, Edmund is with us! Aslan's men brought him back, and he is safe with us!

Today, the White Witch came to the camp. She said that she would kill Edmund on the Stone Table! I started crying. Aslan talked to her privatly, and she has decided not to kill him. But I am afraid Aslan is going to do something. I don't know what, but I'm afraid.

  4 Months Later

    Hullo,

 Today, Peter, Lucy, Susan, and Edmund came back home! We met them at the train station and there were PLENTY, PLENTY, PLENTY of hugs and "hello"s.

 Me and my wife were planning the day before to do some special things for the day they came back. We thought of going to the lake, or having a picnic, or having a picnic at the lake! (We decided on the picnic at the lake.) So, we went to the lake and my wife showed Lucy and Susan the ducks which she named after our family. "See, that one's named after you, Susan, and, Lucy, look down there. That one's for you," she told them. I took Peter and Edmund down very close to the lake to fish. Peter caught two, Edmund caught three, and I caught five. Lucy came by to see how the fishing was going, and, then she saw Peter put a worm on the hook to use as bait, and... well, she was greatly disturbed by that... so, she took a handful of the worms in the bucket that we were using and flung them into the mud. Well, I must go. Time for the kids to go to bed.

  About a week ago, me and my wife went out to a lake. We found a goose's nest, which she was very interested by. There were four eggs. Then, a went fishing while she was sitting on a bench just watching ducks and geese swim and the fish that were in shallow waters. There was a lady feeding the fish by her. Of course, she asked if she could feed them to. The lady said she could, and they were just talking and having a good time. My wife found a duck that she particularly liked. She named it Willy. And, while I was fishing, a man commented on my, alright, I am bragging, very large fish. He said, "That's a good one!" And then I commented on his very large fish. "Wow, that one's big!". And we talked, then me and my wife headed home. We had the fish I caught for dinner. Then we listened to the radio and then went to bed.

   Today, me and my wife went back to the lake. We checked on the goose nest. All the eggs were opened. Then we looked at the lake and saw two geese and four gosslings swimming together. Then my wife named them after our family, because there were two parents and four children. So, that was fun! I must go now.

Dear Journal,

Oh, I am so tired. I can't believe what has been happening. When we ate dinner with the Beavers, they told us of a prophecy, that when four children come to Narnia, they will help free it from the Witch's power. But, Aslan would be the one to actually do it.

"Who's Aslan?" everyone asked. Mr. Beaver told us that Aslan is the real king of Narnia. That he ruled over it and everything in and around it. He also told us that we would meet him.

As soon as we were done talking, we saw that Edmund wasn't there! We looked everywhere, but we couldn't find him. Mr. Beaver figured he had talked to the Witch, and that she had persuaded him to tell her everything he could find out about us.

So, we all packed up some food and blankets, and ran through Mr. Beaver's secret tunnel. Just in time too, for the Witch had set her wolves out to get us. We ran and ran until we came to the Beavers' seceret hiding spot. That is where we are now, and I must rest.

After Frodo had healed from his wounds and took nourishment, it was time for the Council.  There were many different races.  Men of the West including Boromir son of Denethor.  Elves from everywhere including Glorfindel and Legolas Greenleaf son of Tharnduil.  And Dwarves among them was Gimli son of Gloin.  When Frodo put forth the Ring on the table, Boromir all of a sudden said "Why don't we use this"? But then Elrond warned of the dangers of using it and I agreed.  But then Legolas said something that Gimli didn't agree with and that started an arguement that even I was involved in.  But then, Frodo said that he'd take it.  I was the 1st one to said I would go with him.  Then Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Boromir said they'd go as well.  But then Sam popped out of nowhere and said that Frodo isn't going anywhere without me.  Then Merry and Pippin said "We'll go" (even though they were uninvited).  We set out the next day.  We'd intended to go to Lothlorien by way of the Redhorn Pass, but the weather had other plans.  Frodo said we should go through the Mines.  After we'd entered and were far in, we found the tomb of Balin.  Gimli was very upset.  Then we were ambushed.  We fought them off and ran for the Bridge of Khazad-dum.  We had almost made it when a Balrog appeared.  It tried to chase us across the bridge, but I stood my ground on the bridge.  I said "You shall not pass!".  I smote the bridge and broke my staff, he tried to come across but fell.  I turned to walk away but his whip grabbed my ankles.  My last words were "Fly you fools" then I fell deep, defeated him, and passed away.  That is the end of Gandalf the Grey.

After this happened, Frodo came back to the hole and wanted to know what happened to Bilbo.  I told Frodo that he had left.  He told me that he knew Bilbo was talking about leaving for quite some time, but never knew when that it would be.  I advised Frodo what to do on the matter with the Ring.  During that time (I don't know if I mentioned this yet) I caught Sam snooping around during that time.  I sent him with Frodo and that's all I knew after that.  I said I would try to be back by the time his farewell feast rolled around.  But I had a certain conflict Saruman and he imprisoned me on Othranc.  I saw a little insect fly in front of me, and then I jumped off of the tower onto Gwahlir Lord of the Eagles.  He bore me all the way to Rohan.  I came to the gates disguised as a beggar.  Theoden king of Rohan told me to take what ever steed I wanted just as long as I was gone tomorrow.  I got back to Bag End to discover that Frodo was gone.  The next day I road to Bree.  There I found out at the Prancing Pony that I had just missed them.  And that they set out with Strider (Aragorn).  I rode on to Weathertop but left quickly.  After that I made for Rivendell.

Gandalf the White

Dear Journal,

What an adventure I've been having! Well, when I last wrote in you, I said that Mrs. Macready was coming. Susan and I found the boys, and we ran to find a place to hide. I don't know how we got there, but we made our way to the spare room with the wardrobe in it! Her footsteps were coming towards the room, so we all hid in the wardrobe. All of us pushed further and further into it, until we found ourselves in Narnia!

Peter and Susan were so sorry they didn't believe me, and apologized for everything. Peter made Edmund apologize too, though it was a very resentful one. It was decided that we would make our way to Mr. Tumnus' house. So, we took some coats from the wardrobe(because Susan said we technically weren't even taking them out of the wardrobe), and made our way.

Well, when we did get there, we saw the door was beaten down. I ran in, and saw that the whole place had been destroyed. There was a note, and it said that Mr. Tumnus had been arrested for treason and helping a human. I wanted to cry!

A bird came up and whispered to us. I know that sounds strange, but that is what happened. We followed it, and, eventually, we met up with a beaver. It talked to us! He told us to follow him, and he was taking him to his house. I never doubted him, even though I think Peter and Edmund did.

We arrived there to meet the beaver's wife! She welcomed us very warmly. Susan and I helped prepare dinner with Mrs. Beaver, and Peter and Edmund help Mr. Beaver catch fish. It is before we are going to eat now, and it is the only time I have had to write since we have entered into here. Oh, Mrs. Beaver says it is time to eat.
